P.W. is a Playtime Co. employee who worked as a biologist. During his tenure, he exploited the cracks in the company's recording policy to uncover its dark secrets. He debuted in the Orientation Notebook and lent his voice in the Poppy Playtime Orientation Notebook Announcement Trailer.
Another connection could be the reports on the BB Bobby Bearhug's struggle with the transition, and then her cutout lines in the actual games, saying she was lost without the player and has been lost for a long time before begging the player to take her with them. The Bigger Body struggled to recognize and navigate it's environment, maybe PW took it upon himself to be Bobby's caretaker, or at least was the one to escort her to different parts of the factory when she needed to be moved? So maybe Bobby is lost without PW to lead her around anymore? I'm curious as to what state a Big Body would have to be in to be deemed a failure and scraped versus one that's not optimal but able to still be experimented on to try and get it to work.

One of the death screens in CH 3 says something along the lines of. "Burn it all down." Implying the company as a whole. I think Paul is realizing that he should have fought for both the kids and employees and is going to end everything. That is after getting the rest of the kids out that were taken by CatNap during the Hour of Joy. My guess is everyone is in the labs that will be seen in CH 4.
He says they wouldn't let anyone except specialised workers interact with the kids so it's not like he could do much about them, you can't save someone you cannot talk to and meet. He seems like the sort of character that cares about the things that are in reach, like his own wellbeing and his team, but that's it
@Xainos28 Playtime worker would not have the W capitalized as that was not his official job title. When really thinking on who PW is from what we know from the book along with game it could be possible that PW is Dr. White who was first mentioned in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3. We don't know much about their character from Chapter 3 other than a mention from Miss Delight from the VHS tape in Home Sweet Home. But with PW's last initial being a W it could stand for White along with the fact that he's said to be a biologist in the book that could support this theory. I think he is the player because in home sweet home you can see messages, reminding him of his guilt, and he was one of the scientist who worked on the bigger bodies initiative
I think the June 28th link is the biggest hint at who we are as the player. Why would it just be an "easter egg" for the Bunzo cardboard to say? What would be the point of that if it wasn't linking it? And the guilt thing much so much sense for us to be playing as P.W. because in chapter 3 in the home sweet home, while in deep sleep, you see "guilt haunts you" and then hear the screams of slaughter, and P.W. put in a note that the port a lounge literally saved his life. Which could mean P.W. was there the day the toys attacked and hid in the port a lounge, then left and didn't return for 10 years. Now guilt haunts him. These are things he is seeing in his fever dream, his OWN guilt. Outside of that dream, in the real time, you see words on the wall that ask the player "why did you come back?" so the toys have no idea why this employee that experimented on them is back.
I do think we are P. W. In Poppy Playtime, as in the same month notes of P. W. Its interesting how this game has twist and turns, makes me wonder if maybe this hole game is an illusion in itself at times i think that.... but idk i aint no conspiracy theorists, but it would be a hell of a twist if us as the protagonist ended up bein eillot Ludwig, just would be a great twist is all i was sayin, if that was true then 1006 is Rich 😂😂👏🏻again it be fun if that happened just sayin lol
Never heard of the name "Trenton"
in the calendar he has on the date of the hour of joy an appointment with the higher ups so he probaply died on this date
I say yes this is definitely who we play as. It has to be Paul Walker. We know what his voice sounds like from the trailer for this Orientation Notebook. I say this because why reveal what he sounds like canonically if Paul isn't the one we are playing as?
Hes name may have been removed from the fun tunnel entrance
also june 28 is actually the birth day of the king of

We play as an employee
Mommy long legs confirmed we worked there before
NOW, we could be a human turned into a toy like Braun, and that's why the toys don't trust us.....
What if we're the in between or after result of the Ms Delight toy line, what if we're a teacher, proctor toy that was once human, maybe even as close to human as possible and we got out before the hour of joy where we were supposed to join everyone, but we didn't.... WE left.....and now stumbling across that "we're still here" letter we feel bad and go back....
As a toy
As a former employee
Tbh I think P.W is the player character
PW - Physics Wallah
This comment section has my brain fried
I'm still of the mindset that P.W. stands for a man named Paul Walker. So I say yes this is definitely who we play as. It has to be Paul Walker. We know what his voice sounds like from the trailer for this Orientation Notebook. I say this because why reveal what he sounds like canonically if Paul isn't the one we are playing as? Just seems a bit weird to me to put all of that effort for such a short trailer if we weren't playing as Paul Walker.
But what is PW?🤔🌼

One Problem With The Player Is P.W Theory, Also At The End Of The Book The Calendar States That He Was Persuaded To Stay At The Company After Planning To Leave, But That Was A Couple Of Days Before The Hour Of Joy, So He Probably Died 🫡
Paul Walker probably took a sick day. It seems to be implied that Paul knew the hour of joy was going to happen.
Hmm, True, Maybe They Were Giving Us A Red Hearing With It
