I tried this map before and it was intensely laggy, it took like 15-20 seconds to load the main hub. Maybe it’s just my Ps4, but really I don’t understand how this is optimal actually. The edit timing definitely is a great thing to do, but stuff like the tunnels, how do I know what to do? Just edit course randomly?
As far as optimization goes, fortnite has only gotten worse for those of us on lower end devices. With the tunnels, the goal is to build and edit through every space. You don't have to edit super fast, or even edit a lot of pieces, you can build whatever you want. I'd say, at least have a cone or ramp in every space (cones are easier to edit if needed) and place your walls. I'd focus more on double edits over anything as they are the foundation for a lot of building moves.
@@harmony7 I’ve gotten double edits down pretty easily now. I just find my problem to be trying to do some triples to catch some opponents off guard, but I find having a hard time to do any when I got 16ms of a delay, and god knows how much that increases when I’m ingame! I’ll have to say though, although having tried to do some random edit courses inside some of these tunnels felt good, it still felt awkward. Because I’m used to freebuilding in the skies going on without a care in the world and enjoying my time and learning new retakes while at it, so when it comes to such a tight space, it feels awkward to tunnel around. My question being is why are tunnels like this? And couldn’t they be better if you had much more space to work with, so that you are open to doing other techniques than the one focused on with each tunnel? Also, I am pretty crazy for a Ps4 player, but not even slightly good for a Pc player, so you can check off boxes on where you think my skill lies if you think you have an idea of what could help me😅. @@Grenate In game, buildfights are random, so being prepared to build around other players, or their pieces, or cars or houses, is why tunnels are so....awkward. It's to help practice individual piece control moves. This is why I also recommend piece control freebuilding (the last map) because it allows you to practice realistic retakes, in the sense that you have to build around obstacles and adapt to them like you would against other players
