I enjoyed your video so much! All these pretty pens. I can feel the joy they bring you and that’s just such a nice feeling! Have a lot of fun with them 🎉
This was lovely, Jane 🥰 can I just say I just love your name too. I’ve only known 2 Jane’s… one was an aunt my dad cherished. Enjoy watching you enjoy your hobby
Great haul! I had to cancel my trip to the SF Pen Show due to my kitty recently diagnosed with diabetes so I had to be home to give him insulin shots. Hoping to make it next year and would love to meet you in person. I just love your channel. ❤🐱
@@christineb.1 I’m probably going to go to DC Pen Show next year, SF Pen Show is a long haul (no direct fights from Orlando), a 4 hour lay over took a toll on me (recovering from chemo). The flight is still 6 hours.
I love all the pens you picked Jane. Those Mont Blancs are both on my wish list! And yay to more colourful Twsbi’s 😊 The Taccia 8 pen roll looks so well made. That checkered nib is so cute. Yza is so organised with that plan and list she gave you and beautifully handwritten too 🥰 I love my Ink Muddler, very handy tool to have. So glad you had such a good time Jane 😍
@@jppenandink thank you, Jayne! The Taccia 8 pen roll is also good for carrying Urushi and raden pens (we were told), It’s so pretty. Who can refuse a Twsbi you don’t have, I can’t 😁I have 3 MontBlancs, hoping to add another in 2 weeks at Orlando Pen Show. Best part of the show is meeting Yza (it’s amazing what she did!), met Jamie and so many from YT, everyone made me feel so loved! It felt good to be back west for a few days.
That Montblanc Baby pen is SO cute, and that nib! I had no idea that Montblanc made a pen like that, and the Jane Austin !!!!!????? I love that pen but will never spend that much on a pen. Not that I wouldn't if I could afford to...Gorgeous haul. I want one of the blue Toyooka Craft boxes, but that light wood with the baby pink liner; that's so sweet.
@@teresaharris-travelbybooks5564 I do understand about can’t at this time! Thank you 💖the Baby is the cutest pen! The cap does screw on. I have their 50 pen box, 3+ years ago they excepted custom orders. I’m wanting their floor model if it holds enough pens.
My first time for a very busy show. Saturday was bonkers! I did most of my shopping on Friday. If I go next year, I’ll stay Sunday. Sunday I heard is pretty nice. I missed a lot of people.
Jane, 17 pens? You totally jumped out the window on this one. Did you and Yza buy out all the TWSBI's? 8:46 Newton Pens - that was a gorgeous pen. I had to rewind a few time and play that one in slow mo to get the effect. 💜 18:33 - Now that is a beautiful pen holder. It is all sparkly 🥰
Love Newton Pens! I have a few. I’m celebrating 😊 Orlando Pen Show in 11 days. Going, it’s about 45 minutes away. Staying at the hotel. I think it was 18 pens, 9 are inked (or is it 7).
@@annemarievandevordt4101 I don’t know why only one, sometimes it just happens? I’m planning on a few more small makers when I go to Orlando Pen Show next weekend.
I am thinking of going to the Orlando show in September. Having never been to a show before, I really don’t know what to expect. Are pens, inks, and paper cheaper at shows - or is it only the “so much in one place” that is the draw? When you consider that everything you could ever want is on Amazon, are things going to be cheaper - or perhaps even more expensive? Any advice from anyone who knows more than me would be very appreciated!
@@tm502010 cheaper, not usually. Most are 1 man/woman shops, you’ll never see them on Amazon or most pen stores. There are “pen, paper and ink” stores go to Pen Shows. Cheaper than amazon, I doubt it. Usually they have things you can’t get on Amazon. A pen show for me, is trying pens I’m thinking about, buying inks, papers and having fun with other like minded people! Orlando has grown each year (3rd year) everyone I’ve met has been great! IMO a smaller show is a great way to start.
