Let’s not forget: two women are DEAD. Too much whining about your life being affected instead of disgust that people are dead and empathy for THEIR family members. Not a word was said about the pain those two families have gone through.

If I had closed my eyes and just listened to this program, I could’ve sworn that I was listening to Drew Peterson talking. It added to the uneasiness that I felt when Steven talked about how wonderful a father Drew was and how he wanted to be like him.

Someone contacted him, asked him if he could tell what it was like to live with his dad.
What was his experience after finding out his dad was a bad man.
I'm sure they have a show where the victims tell their stories.

@@lalablack6038 what does that have to do with his lack of empathy towards the victims? You can tell your story and have empathy. Do you lack the comprehension for that? It is sad that people have to point this out. He showed ZERO feelings for Kathleen’s pain or her family or towards Stacy’s. When are people going to see the signs in people that something is not right? He was raised by a psychopath and defended him. That shows you that he was affected by him. Somebody that was raised by a psychopath and could see through him would not have believed him when the evidence showed he was lying in the first place. This is basic. Not everybody believes a liar. Does he spend anytime helping to look for Stacy? I doubt it.

True. It's crazy how son Steven lost his job as a cop but Drew was completely corrupt and beats his wives without losing his job. This would have bolstered his confidence where he would have thought that he could get away with anything. Drew's behaviour became more and more outrageous--marrying younger and younger women, until his 4th wife was a teenager. I think if the police would have investigated him properly instead of protecting him both women would be alive.

I think the Peterson children (young adults) were put into a difficult situation by Drew. Stephen lost his job as a police officer because of his dad. Stephen has stepped up & is raising his younger siblings. Drew was making Stephen & rest of his kids guilty by association. The kids from his 3 marriages are trying to have lawful lives with 2 wives dead & missing. What would you do? Dad is guilty, in jail, 2 wives gone. What would you do? Some, not all, police officers, abusive spouses will tell you, you leave me, you are dead. You will have nothing, no kids, no money, no home, no life. What would you do?

"Drew's Law" is a nickname for a law in Illinois that allows hearsay evidence in court. Drew Peterson, a former Bolingbrook Police Sergeant, was the first defendant in Illinois to be tried under the law. In 2010, Peterson's defense team argued that the law was unconstitutional, but the Appellate Court later agreed that it was restrictive and protective of a defendant's rights.

if his family name woud have been "Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff" they would have had second thoughts about creating a law using it. They referred to the third wife only what happened to the first two ? Also "disposed" of by Drew ? He should have received capital punishment. Period. A man of 48 marrying a teenager (fourth wife Stacey) is an absurdity, typical old man wanting to prove he still has a migthy crown jewell under the belt. The fourth wife (hopefully she just run away) was at least clever to do so, but to marry him in the first place, a little blam blam in her grey mass.

I think the son is so honest, humble guy who's been manipulated all his life. Peterson sent a neighbor in to discover his evil deeds? So much for concerned husband. He needed to know what the neighbor thought it looked like so he can get his story right. That's why he sent her in to discover the body. He killed all four wives. Really disturbing.
