This was the most naturally organic love stories with a sci fi twist that I have EVER seen in my entire life. And it didn't feel f*ckin' forced or not genuine like today's movies when they try to show a gay relationship. It goes a long way to sometimes WRITE a good story to really see and understand different perspectives. I watched this episode like 8 times already.
I love horror movies predominantly.. but it only took ONE TIME to watch Black Mirror's "San Junipero" episode to certify IT as my all time favorite piece of TV, celluloid, screenplay, mini-movie, episode... whatever.. it's honestly one of the greatest works of cinema ever realized!! ❤ I could watch it 200,000x and never get sick of it.. I'm pretty sure many people agree with this!!
Mutual hearts aflame, how is it that this love between Kelly and Yorkie dares not speak its name? Guys/girls romance, I get it, but the acting here makes this special. I like to think that the ending is a future forever bright for the both of them. Yes, I know it's just entertainment.
I did think about the ending too, since I saw some comments somewhere says the ending looks happy but likely long term horror.. since they are a couple of 73 and 21 from spirit aspect.. but considering Kelly was loyal to marriage commitment in her whole real life, and Yorkie is a forever 21 pure hearted young girl, I also believe they will have a bright future in San Junipero.. 🤞 and I know it's just a fictional story.. 😊

First part in San Junipero Kelly mentioned she's dying while suggesting to visit Yorkie.. I guess at last she decided to accept some sort of euthanasia as part of process to permanently enter San Junipero to be with Yokie..

I think it has a very good plot as a sci-fi TV show, especially for those who like analyzing details.. the characters somehow can be related too.. however I respect your opinion and appreciate your honesty..
