Good video, Richard. I particularly like the clips showing how you worked your bait and watching you pull in that lunker on 2 lb test. Some great fish fighting tips in this and a technique I'd never thought of. I also enjoyed the conversation with the lady in the truck! That must have felt good holding a fish that nice. :-)

Woo Richard Gene! For years I’ve used night crawlers just like that with no weight to catch bass cruising shorelines. Often they will hit them right after they hit the surface and start sinking. It works really well for clear water and spooky fish.
@MarSar Fishin' sorry, but he definitely goes to different places to catch different species at different times of the year. He goes to them because he knows exactly where to go and what to do. But nice try !

Richard..I grew up in fort payne and use to go down to the old 2 way bridge to scottsboro to catfish. I dont think the old bridge is there anymore( ran off to the navy in 98) anyways I'm tormented to this day from the time we spent all day trying to catch a bass and when daddy got one I knocked it off with the net...I'll never forget his face lol. Thanks for bringing back old memories.

Being gringitos, they call it "man-zann-ass" with a strong emphasis on "ASS" because they think they're getting away with profanity. Kids are the best.

Good show, been fishing like that since I was a kid with my dad. I'm 80 yrs now and still do it but pick my own crawlers.
