    It’s really neat to see the high and low hits with the velocity reading when you have a lower one they go low when you have a high when it goes high, it can really tell the difference at 200 yards. Good job great shooting.

    Ps. Ejected mag full of live rounds and they flew out of the receiver.

    It's not easy to test ammunition in the cold of Canada. Also the different speeds of this ammunition do not help (spread 42fps). I like your sqare video for the wind, good idea. I love view in the scope, i do not like target black the dot black is not easy. I turn on light red on the scope, better for me. Thank a lot for this video

    Very good video. 200 yds and 10 shot and 20 shot groups. Once you get to 10 shots in a group your going to see the size open up. Let's not forget it's cold out and always some wind. Your conditions seem to match mine a lot of the time. I shoot a bunch of 10 shot groups no matter the distance. If you want to feel good about your gun just go to 5 shot groups. You do a great job and thanks a lot.

      I'm glad you found the video useful, I like seeing how the gun does with the larger group sizes too.

    Very nice shooting at 200 yds! Even better when you consider how cool it is up there. Several comments note the chrono data and how the ammo fps changed your point of impact. Not sure if the temperature had something to do with it, but could be. Try loading mags indoors and keeping in lunch bag with a handwarmer on low. Load and shoot 10 rounds before they cool down. See if that makes a difference.

    Great job. Got an IBI on my cz. ORPS 22nrl matches will definitely make you feel like a green shooter the first time. But lots of fun and once you see how other guys do stages you will catch on fast. Good luck

    Very nice! Groups at 200 yards with a 22lr approaching or less than 2'' are impressive

    Eley use a slightly thiner case that can cause extraction issues in CZ and old Brno's.

    Hi, would be cool to see you with that in the competition you mentioned, if the price you have to pay to your kids is not to high when they film you. 😎

    Good shooting in freezing conditions, especially @ 200... Looks like the barrel is really deep in the forend, I assume the barrels fully floated but considering the ill effects if not, I'd check that all is right.

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Yes it is floating but the gap is tight but it’s definitely floating

    Good shooting again.
    That 20 shot group is .963 mean radius or 1.926 mean diameter. If the scope is zeroed at the centre dot of the red circle you will hit a pigeon with most of the shots.

    You may have already done this but eley recommends setting head space at .040-.041. I set mine at .041 that helped a lot with reducing flyers. Good luck with comps

    Tires aren't flat and the GoPro is still running.. good shootin :)
    Those extractors can be a real pain, mine extracts the spent rounds every time but sometimes will not pull out the chambered full ones. As soon as you fire the round it extracts fine.
    Really makes you pay attention to safety and getting a visual on it.
    I hear ya about position in the cold.. Had to throw a couple of rickety shipping pallets on the ground and use those as a platform to get off the snow - leaves a lot to be desired.
    I've got a barn to salvage that has 24 foot tin roofing, If I can convince the old lady to look the other way I will build a enclosed "tunnel" for the winter with a little shed at the end of it. Room is there to pull it all the way out to 100 yards.
    Not sure how to build it in a way that our filthy government doesn't come in and try to steal additional tax by calling it a new building on the property.
    One thing to watch is Canadian Tire here in Canada.. They are afraid to publish ammo quantity online, and the brand in general is ditching firearms and ammo. It won't be listed online but at some of the smaller stores you can still find bricks of Eley (usually club, sport) on the shelf for a clearance price of around $7 a box.. In a continued effort to go Woke they are trying to clear it out quietly without drawing attention to it.
    Thanks for the video!

    Great video Ryan! Love seeing the 200 yard shots and seeing the target from your scope eye view, thanks for sharing! Great for shooting the final 20 rounds to determine your more practical group size. If you have your DOPE from the summertime (temp and scope settings), see if you can create a profile in your Kestrel with your winter DOPE. Likely, not the same lot of ammo, but curious how much your scope settings had to change due to lot and environmental conditions.

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I do notice around 2 tenths difference between summer and winter with most ammunition

    I got a test brick of Team last week and shot a 10 shot group of each. They were all about the same size at 100 yds. But,,, it was 25 degrees Fahrenheit and half way through my CZ which never has an extraction problem wouldn't pull any of them anymore. My chamber and bolt were full of wax. I cleaned it and finished with no problems. I don't know if one shell had excess wax or it built up as I went. I haven't shot anymore because it's always windy. I'm thinking the oil on other brands is more friendly for cold weather.

    Funny how much harder it is to shoot 200 than 100.
    Now i want a 40× scope!😮😅

    10 feet per second makes a HUGE difference at 200 yards! when you where getting 1085 fps the shots where real close but when it hit 1075 or 1090+ it was high or low by quite a bit!

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Yep I noticed that as well it’s amazing it makes that noticeable of a difference.

  • @paullavallee1631

    Pretty impressive at 200 yards, is the CZ your favorite ?

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I would have to say yes! It definitely feels the best as far as action and smoothness goes. The tikka is a close second but the CZ is easier to shoot well. The bergaras are a bit rougher when it comes to actions but they also shoot very well.
