Beautiful beaches, great food and drinks all provided by people that know how to live very close to heaven, while still connected to their home soil. Please remember that summer-life there begins "at dusk" and summer-work starts "long before dawn".
if you have a soft spot for quiet towns, you should definitely visit the cilento coast! it is full of peaceful villages and the sea is beautiful. loved the video

I know you drove with your boyfriend but if you were there solo, would you have still rented a car to travel to these areas. I’ve done Italy solo, but never have rented a car. I want to do Bari, Alberobello, etc but not sure about renting car. Love your video.
The only foreign country I’ve ever driven in is Mexico and of course no driver license from there required. I guess that’s true of most countries? Get a rental and just drive around?
The best State in Southern Italy is Campania ..... It has six million inhabitants ... Naples is a metropolis, there is Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Procida, the Amalfi Coast, etc .... Tourism it is more "glamorou" with jet-set resorts such as Capri, for example. Puglia and Basilicata? Poor tourism!
