My 8th grade HomeEc teacher said that sawdust helps keep the points on your pins and needles sharp. It’s also lighter weight, in case you are making wristband pincushions (which is what we were doing). I love this tutorial! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
I sure do appreciate (and am highly honored) your crediting me and my free tutorials for helping you learn how to make these sweet drums. Thank you so very much ❤️ it’s a gorgeous piece you’ve created!
Thank you very much, I am really excited to make a couple pin drums! This video was awesome and very well detailed! Thanks for keeping this video available!
Lori your grandkids are going to love coming to your house, and they won’t know what to get into first. You have all the toys and bright colors that every child loves.
Excellent video. So much information and presented so well and easy to understand. Thank you so much! AND, thank you for the pattern. Use to raise sheep, so love anything to do with sheep. Wish I lived in Wisconsin so I could come by and visit. Thank you Lisa for Primitive Gatherings!
This is very much on point. Recently purchased a cup in the shape of a hen chicken to make a pincushion. Now I can make a drum shape to drop down in it. I may give her a lace shawl too. Thank you, Kathy & Lisa.
Beautiful pincushions! That sawdust is impressive…really like the way it makes the pincushions no lumps or bumps and fast! Great tips for making such a cute pincushion…love it!👏☺️
Thank You So Much Kathy and Lisa for this video!! And also for the pattern! Makes such a difference to actually see how it's done than just reading the instructions!!! And I appreciate so much Kathy all the wonderful tips you shared in making this cute pin cushion! Thank You both!!
This is darling!! Thank you for sharing this with us! I love Vonna’s tutorials. I have made a drum similar to this using Vonna’s directions and a crossstitched piece. I love your idea using these fabrics and embroidery. ❤️✂️🧵
Great tutorial thank you both very much and thank you for the free pattern. I’ve never made a pin cushion before I can’t wait to make the Sheep Drum pin cushion!
Enjoyed watching the video, explanation was very helpful. I was wondering if a funnel would work instead of using the "sticky plastic" when you were filling the drum with the sawdust?
