My parents were farmers and I have found myself desperately wanting to live on a farm but at my stage of life I will just have to continue watching you and your precious family. I live in Central Pennsylvania and i have been canning and putting up what i can plus growing what i can. This year i had trouble keeping up with my gardens. I grow in raised beds. But i live in a small trailer court in the mountains and i have wild black raspberries that took over my one garden, so that garden didn't do real well. But I didn't give up. My cucumbers did really well and so did my peppers. So I did what i could. I went to a local farm and picked veggies that i needed to . My son who lives on the border of New York brought me 2 turkeys to can for him and i threw the wings and legs in the crockpot to cook for the next 2 days. I make a turkey broth that i add meat, carrots onions and celery to it and all i have to do is open it up and add rice or noodles to it for a quick dinner. I live by myself but i try to preserve what i can because one day i may not be able to go to a grocery store. I love your farm and hope you guys had a nice Thanksgiving. Be safe and keep providing for your family.
