Does anyone please know of a black enamel right hand drive Chrysler airflow V12 knackered engine unless it's restored...it's my grandads car I'm trying to track down and it went to a museum somewhere
This Video is quite confusing, Carol is standing next to and talking about a 1934 Airflow that was her fathers car. The family photos clearly are pictures of a 1935 Airflow (no waterfall grill but the peaked grill with 4 horizontal bands). Can't understand how the "all original car" is a 1934 but the car in the family pictures where she poses with her Father and Mother is 1935.
+kramnalla64 So I noticed. The one on her photos is a post-waterfall Airflow, and there's no way it would be a '34 unless her father modified it for some reason.
It looks like the car in the family pictures is a '34 with the upgraded hood and grille that Chrysler offered owners of 1934 cars when the 1935 cars came out and looked much better. This hood and grille is unique as it fits the contours of the 1934 fenders. I don't know the full story of this particular car but someone probably restored it and put the 1934 style hood back on.

The car is the ultimate american classic it's almost 100 years old but people still don't recognize what's good! Otherwise the prices would be higher!
