Is it me or do they make the characters in this game way cooler then they actually are? I haven’t seen piccolo and tien be that cool since the original dragon ball, it’s fantastic I absolutely love it

The amount of heart and personality put into this is so great, and the references are fantastic.
There are legit so many variants on certain intros that I don't think anyone is going to be able to upload a video with all of them. This is the closest but still far from it. Which just shows the overwhelming amount of detail put into this game

I love how creative these intros can be, although sometimes I feel like they can run on for a bit longer than necessary lol
That's the theme for this game. Like the special moves. Shit looks beautiful but just runs on too long.
tbh I can see them adding a "fast intro" option in the settings which just skips it, if people wanted it.
I wish more official games had it too, so instead of one or the other, you can have both at your choice!

I know there's a skip feature in some dbz games but not all of them and they still play the intro until you click to skip it.

Frieza's first form to final form is definitely the best one.
My favorite intro in the entire game, its even better when it happens against base Vegeta so you get his reaction towards it. I never skip it.
The makers of this game have shown a much bigger love for the show (and its roots sometimes) with just these intros, than most of the modern games!

Fun fact: In DBZ Budokai, Bulma was initially planned to be in the game as a joke character, but was scrapped mid-development. Pretty interesting how as far back as 2002 we would've gotten Bulma as a actual fighter!

They've added even more intros since then! The team behind this game is awesome and they captured the old 90s Fighting Game style so well. But now you can go ssb and ssbe with Vegeta and Gokus level 3 is UI.
