Thank you so much, I have WIS and it is very vague (as always lol). I have my new parking brake actuator but have been hesitant because 1. I have never done this before and none of my former co-workers had either, and 2. It seemed like a lot of work. But you did it (one handed at times and in flip flops) very easily! Well the reason this goes wrong is many owners of W221 cars just hit the end of the gear shift to park instead of pulling the electronic hand brake switch,from lack of use it just siezes up.
