True, and with the case with RT, already in another quiz show.
Who wants to be a Millionaire is not aired live exactly so the lifeline person can't see the question beforehand.

Also considering that with the possible exception of Zoo Tycoon it was the only game there that uses the word "scenarios" for its levels.
as a simmer, i was bewildered that he thought the sims even HAS scenarios! those dont appear until ts4, and even then, theyre so obscure that i dont even know how to find the menu for them
Scenarios, especially the dunes, sounded much more like Rollercoaster Tycoon. And if we factor "initial" in, then desert wouldn't be one of the first things on The Sims list

R.I.P the thing is I knew it wasn't the sims because I knew what the neighborhoods *were* called the *dynamite* was the best give away, because that's more associated with rollercoasters if anything explosive/spectacular.
I also knew it wasn't Zoo tycoon cuz I played that as well and it doesn't make much sense. I haven't played simcity but honestly if a town was called "Dynamite Dunes" in simcity than I would have just said GG, Didn't see that coming.

american here i last took geography in grade 7 and i don't think they spent any time telling us where things like the mariana trench are at 😂 i know where most things are because i keep up with learning things for fun myself. if there's one thing that US does not really have bragging rights on, it's education. even with amazing teachers, our curriculums are lacking
He chose the only one that has nothing aching to a desert, but I still get guessing it if you've never played the first one, especially if you've played any of the later ones which all have deserts. *If.*
Even so, I was pretty sure they wouldn't call a peaceful neighbourhood to live in "minefield town"...explosives + living area for people doesnt make a great, family friendly game

Do The Sims even have scenarios?
Yep, there was an extra Sims 2 spin of that was just for scenarios even.
The Sims 4 has scenarios. You can select them from the main menu and they're basically special play conditions with a set goal like your sim always sets the oven on fire but somehow has to become a masterchef
the original game did not and i am immensely disappointed in rumble tumble for thinking that it did
I believe for the purpose of the question they meant starting location, which in the case of the sims would equate to which neighbourhood you start in
Worse than that The Sims 1 is the only one of those that doesn't have deserts! SimCity has brown/orange land that looks like desert even though there are trees. Even if you think "scenarious" meaning neighbourhoods, well there are no desert neighbourhoods and couldn't be because grass always starts growing on "empty" tiles. The Sims 1 neighbourhoods don't even have names just numbers, because they're all all copies of each other aside from a few houses.
