Well to be fair, the creature didn’t know he was actually a meal yet, the dog diverted its attention. It was lame how long it took to attempt to eat the dog, and how easy it was to kill it.
Knowing how centipedes hunt, that thing would lunge out in seconds lmao
Is no one gonna talk about how quickly his parents gave up on trying to escape that car. She telling him to run as if she can't just climb out the back seat and save herself as well 😭💀
There was a plot armour behind, they couldn't get through.
I assumed they were pinned. Seen some odd things happen in car wrecks.

I give it a three because his stupid pet nearly gets him killed like eight times. Kid should just ditch the dog and get a horse or something. At least horses are useful in a horror situation. This dog does nothing but blindly throw itself into danger or else freak out at the worst possible times and attract attention to the kid. Useless.

It was a trigger for a past traumatic event. At least he didn't rashly do things like scream a war cry snd charge and then get himself killed while trying to save his dog. It's also better to think about what you'd do than to charge hastily in the face of danger lmao.

Centipedes can handle an unreasonable amount of abuse, not even decapitation would kill it that fast

Always got to include a flashback in a movie to tramatizing moments to dig up some BS plot armor/ abilities.
I mean it was more just him getting over his fear. The movie brought up how he freezes in situations like this, because of what happened in the flashback

crossbow reload was very unrealistic.. just put it in right after shooting? really 😅 and the size of the crossbow.. unless it was some sort of imaginary material that puts insane power behind the bolts.. that crossbow is more fit for small game hunting then armoured 10 meter long centipede hunting.. anyways looked pretty cool 🤷♂️ 7
@@ryanwells7842 Yes but its a centipede.. its not like a human, humans are extremely fragile and die super super easy. most animals survive so much more then humans. same goes for centipedes, a tiny little bolt which would be like the size of a injection needle to humans... is not going to drop it like that 😅
