Thoughts on the board: This is my favorite 75% currently. It is better than the mode sonnet for me. It is a little bit muted for top mount though (compare to a top mount tkl). But it is a great value board.
Hi in what way do you think its better than the mode sonnet. Im currently deciding between the 2. would love some input as i dont have any experience with either boards. I was thinking of getting the mode sonnet but a local store told me that they look better than they sound and recommended the TKD to me. i tend to like a stiffer feel so i do like top mount boards and the TKD seems to be a great fit.
@@Haionsodium To me the sonnet sounds more hollow and less full. This is because the sonnet is a full aluminum board, unless you spend extra for the copper bottom. With the copper bottom the sonnet just costs too much, which makes the tkd a better deal.
@@Nightmodes Which of the 2 do you think has a deeper sounding profile. Most of the sonnet sound test I've heard has sounded pretty clacky and high pitched while the tkd seems to be more balanced and in the middle. Did you find this to be true ?
@@Haionsodium Yea I guess you can say the Tkd is more balance. Sonnet is more clacky

What do you think about the Neo75 CU versus this? I like running alu + cherry on bascially all of my boards and I lean towards a more clacky sound profile. What do you think of the sound profile of the Pt.1?
Same I like to run cherry on alu on most of my boards. This board is a top mount so it is more clacky. I assume the neo75 cu is going to be a bit more muted since it's gasket mounted. I will be building a neo75 to compare.
