Is there a point to fingertip an ergo or just get an x2v2 mini instead?

i think it depends on whether u like a lower button height on the x2v2 or higher and tilted on the xlite

I think the x2v2 is still better overall as a fingertip mouse. The xlite is better if you switch between different grips
