Arashiyama Monkey Park, Kyoto, Japan 2024

Hello, this is Ellie.
I visited Arashiyama Monkey Park in Kyoto, very famous to foreign tourists. At the Monkey Park, you can watch wild monkeys walking around and feed them as well!
You can visit the Park by walking 10 minutes from the Arashiyama station, and also walk across the famous Togetsukyo Bridge along the way to the Monkey Park as well.

If you enter Monkey Mountain, the percentage of Japanese people, including photographers and operation management, is less than 10%.
Japanese → purely for sightseeing in Arashiyama
Foreign tourists → main purpose is to see natural monkeys, which are rare in Europe and the U.S.

The scenery is so beautiful, the entrance fee is very cheap, in comparison to UK park prices.
The trek looks tiring 😄 but well worth it 👍🙏
