Thanks Mark. Cake supplies have been resumed. Try looking for the movement rather than the bee. Queens move in a different way and sometimes I spot them that way.

Nearly 40 years later it still comes as a surprise to me but then I’m a bit on the slow side!! Great news about the apiary.
