A groupie is a fan who follows around on tour and maybe hangs around with them backstage. There is often an implication that drugs and sex are involved. It's a term that really applies more to rock & roll bands, presumably major kpop idols are managed too closely to have groupies.
i've noticed that she's really proud and shamelessly admits these stuff as if she's a child who cannot comprehend the consequences. There were more sasaengs, and how I know this is because my now ex-friend who i used to be super close with since 2018 is a huge taeyong fan and she was traveling with this friend group (who were all sasaengs btw) to all the stops on 127's tour. I remember she posted on her ig story a picture of that same sledding place (no people were in the pic tho) and when the JCC vlog uploaded she tagged all the people she traveled with including a screenshot of the vlog saying "that it brings back all the memories." They also went to Ponce Market in Atlanta (stalking the members) and waited in their chicago hotel as well. it's truly disgusting really.

So they go around nyc stalking idols whenever they come for a concert, which they did when enhypen came to newark recently. Jaehyun sasaeng @/meijjeon was also with them during the entirety of the link+ world tour.
Around a month ago NCT came to Indonesia for SMTOWN concert. After the concert they visit some place for sightseeing and filming content. They rent the place, so for a few hours the place was closed for the public. But many sasaeng were there and forcing themselves to get in and making a scene out of it. They waited in front of the entrance for a looong time with giant ass cameras and it caught people's attention which made the place more crowded. So they have to cut the trip shorter than they planned. One of the event's team complained about this online because they worked so hard to make the boys comfortable (booking the place months before and keeping the whole thing secret so they can have privacy) but it was ruined because of them

There has been a case with bts where this girl who did the same exact thing in their hotel where she watched taehyung If I could remember changing shirts in his hotel room while it was slightly open because she booked a hotel room closer to his room. She took the same plane (and she sat like two rows behind him, ate the same things he eats, drinks the same things as he drinks.), follows him to every location he goes to, I think for the flight she must of find out from somewhere on all of their schedule a month or two before hand.
I don't get why (crazy?) rich people stalk celebs. I like some celebs too, but if I were as rich as them, aside from going to a concert or two, I'd rather spend my time focusing on my hobbies, yay no work lol, instead of stalking someone making their life miserable and then have them hate me too.

I attended the nct 127 concert in Paris, and I generally think I had a conversation with Judy and one of her friends… it wasn’t a long one, but my friend and I were at the venue and were talking to the people in line, and I started to talk to a blonde south east Asian girl. She said she was form America, and when I asked why they would go to Europe to see nct when theyd already been in the US she responded “ah, because we missed them” she sounded so offended by my question.

Just opinion on genuine idol-fan relationship. I think one of my fav genuine idol-fan r/s is apink. Like there was a video when one of the apink member remember/recognize a fan and they even congratulate her for having a baby (they brought her baby to the fansign 😂). That's probably one of the most genuine reaction from a kpop idol i've seen
My favourite is similar - IU recognising her fan Risa who is the same age flew from Japan to give her a letter and support her - it had been 10 years but she recognised her in the audience and called out to her.
Some groups really do have such great fans that have genuine kindness for one another. It's not hard to cheer on idols without foaming at the mouth anytime they appear and making their lives difficult.
She’s so young and smart and she should be using her youth to find herself and do better NOT THIS. People like this are literally wasting their lifetime to get someone who is literally almost impossible to reach to interact with, have as genuine friends or to have as a loved one. You can’t force people to want to see you, like you or pay attention to you. The amount of time that these people waste will never come back to them and they most definitely regret these dumb immature choices one day as they realize that life has so much to offer rather than chasing some idol who will never see you. 💁🏻♀️

I’m basically a retired kpop stan now and haven’t really been keeping up with most of it. But wow, the intence level of stalking and harassing is STILL happening and the companies STILL don’t do anything. The artists can’t say anything because then they would disappoint some fans because “everything they do is because of the fans” and all that bs. I’m just afraid that clearly the sasaengs are getting even worse and something really bad will happen.

They do not view idols as people who have rights to privacy. There are multiple evidence online (like in this video) showing that JUDY is in fact *uninvited* and forces herself to be in idols’ spaces.

i have NO idea how she didn't get arrested for breaking in, but as far as staff go - they probably have absolutely no idea which staff member(s?) was responsible for leaking info and/or giving her a key card if that's what happened. even if they were to do a thorough investigation of their staff, feeding information to sasaengs can be done VERY secretly and would be easy to hide/cover up, so chances are they'd turn up absolutely nothing. and if you work for SM ENTERTAINMENT of all places and you're feeding info to SASAENGS, you're gonna go above and beyond to cover your ass because you'd be absolutely destroyed by them in court. but tbh, we don't know for sure that no staff members got fired for this, there's probably a LOT going on behind the scenes that isn't public information. crazy to think about 🤯🤯

There were more sasaengs, and how I know this is because my now ex-friend who i used to be super close with since 2018 is a huge taeyong fan and she was traveling with this friend group (who were all sasaengs btw) to all the stops on 127's tour. Around a month ago NCT came to Indonesia for SMTOWN concert. After the concert they visit some place for sightseeing and filming content. They rent the place, so for a few hours the place was closed for the public. But many sasaeng were there and forcing themselves to get in and making a scene out of it. They waited in front of the entrance for a looong time with giant ass cameras and it caught people's attention which made the place more crowded. So they have to cut the trip shorter than they planned. One of the event's team complained about this online because they worked so hard to make the boys comfortable (booking the place months before and keeping the whole thing secret so they can have privacy) but it was ruined because of them

There has been a case with bts where this girl who did the same exact thing in their hotel where she watched taehyung If I could remember changing shirts in his hotel room while it was slightly open because she booked a hotel room closer to his room. She took the same plane (and she sat like two rows behind him, ate the same things he eats, drinks the same things as he drinks.), follows him to every location he goes to, I think for the flight she must of find out from somewhere on all of their schedule a month or two before hand.

i have NO idea how she didn't get arrested for breaking in, but as far as staff go - they probably have absolutely no idea which staff member(s?) was responsible for leaking info and/or giving her a key card if that's what happened. even if they were to do a thorough investigation of their staff, feeding information to sasaengs can be done VERY secretly and would be easy to hide/cover up, so chances are they'd turn up absolutely nothing. and if you work for SM ENTERTAINMENT of all places and you're feeding info to SASAENGS, you're gonna go above and beyond to cover your ass because you'd be absolutely destroyed by them in court. but tbh, we don't know for sure that no staff members got fired for this, there's probably a LOT going on behind the scenes that isn't public information. crazy to think about 🤯🤯

I went to high school with her, this doesn’t shock me. She actually was not there for most of her senior year cause she was off following them. She was a very condescending and rude girl.
