I cried the most when my fiancé showed me this song, and had said it got him through Marine Boot Camp... it's beautiful knowing he's found comfort in God to help his troubled mind. ..
I have been battling with depression for 4 years now, was suicidal, cut. But recently God has broken my chains and set me free from all of that. He speaks to me a lot and writes me letters. He uses my best friend to do so. He told me to look up this song and listen to it. I have never heard of it before, but I obeyed and it is literally everything he has been telling me in the form of a song. I cried so much listening to this and this song has broken me and has really made me feel like God is not just saying he loves us, but that he actually does. I just want to say, to anybody who has a similar story to mine, anybody who is dealing with depression, or anything similar, please don't give up. There is always hope. There is so much God wants to do, to move in your life. Please don't give up. Don't let Satan have that victory. Keep your eyes focused on God, He will move for you. Even if it doesn't seem like He is at that moment, He will if you just be patient and trust Him.

Since my graduation, I've strayed away and I'm scared. He died when I was five (I'm 14 now) but I recently found out that he committed suicide. It really hit me hard tonight when I went to put the grave blanket on his grave. I was in a dark place and the devil had a hold of my thoughts (I was shivering and crying and I couldn't climb out of it) Buy I called on the Name of Jesus and all of that stopped. And thankfully, I had my God given best friends (our friendship is a huge God thing, He led us all to eachother when we needed good Christian friends most) to pray for me and bless me with God's words and His compassion Jesus was thinking of you when he rose from the dead. Nobody shall see the gates of Hell when believing in our wonderful Jesus lord. You and everyone is blessed, we are so lucky to be his children. We may not know each other but God calls us to be neighbors.

This song is life to me. My son is in prison for the second time and is battling mental health issues and is battling with suicidal thoughts and attempts. I haven't seen him in months and today is his birthday and I am going to see him. I am nervous but anxious at the same time .I woke up at 2:30 in the morning with this song on my heart and sang it so loud. I know there is a reason and I know God is with me.

I was reading a 30 Day Devotional (STAY FIT: Strengthening Your Connection To Jesus) and today's reading had this song in it. "Out Of Hiding." I listened to the song and this part had me in tears. 'Cause I loved you before you knew it was love I saw it all, still I chose the cross You were the one that I was thinking of when I rose from the Grave.
I don't know why the last few lines of this song hit me so hard every single time, even after years of listening to this on and off. It just brings me to ugly tears every time. Maybe I feel as if there's so much left of life that I have left to live, but I know it's going to be hard, and part of me just wants to skip all the trouble and the heartbreak and the difficulty and God will just take me home to heaven to be with Him in eternity, but that's not how life works. God wants us to live our lives to the fullest, not to throw them away to pointless endeavors, to give our lives to Him as a pleasing sacrifice. And what we give to Him, He will use for His glory, and we will one day be called good and faithful servants. That is the one thing I want to hear one day, nothing else. Absolutely nothing else will make me more satisfied. So to anyone who reads this, do not give up. Do not be overwhelmed by the difficulties of life. Do not wish for it to be easier or to get out of everything. Give it all up to God, and I promise you that He will turn it all around. We're almost home!

I was depressed and mildly suicidal the first time I heard this several years ago. It helped me to come terms with certain areas of my life and that God still loves me because for the finished work.
Last January, I went through a very rough time. A close friend of mine died in a car crash and I blamed, hated, and ran from God. I started struggling from an eating disorder and self harming every day. I felt so ashamed of everything and hated myself. I kept running from God. He then revealed Himself to me at church camp and I knew how loved I was. I still struggle with feelings of unworthiness and shame, but I know my Father is waiting for me. It’s such a great feeling, especially when I didn’t have a good father growing up. My dad made me question my worth and I never felt good enough for him. But this..this is different.

I have been battling with depression for 4 years now, was suicidal, cut. But recently God has broken my chains and set me free from all of that. He speaks to me a lot and writes me letters. He uses my best friend to do so. He told me to look up this song and listen to it. I have never heard of it before, but I obeyed and it is literally everything he has been telling me in the form of a song. I cried so much listening to this and this song has broken me and has really made me feel like God is not just saying he loves us, but that he actually does. I just want to say, to anybody who has a similar story to mine, anybody who is dealing with depression, or anything similar, please don't give up. There is always hope. There is so much God wants to do, to move in your life. Please don't give up. Don't let Satan have that victory. Keep your eyes focused on God, He will move for you. Even if it doesn't seem like He is at that moment, He will if you just be patient and trust Him.

Since my graduation, I've strayed away and I'm scared. Last January, I went through a very rough time. A close friend of mine died in a car crash and I blamed, hated, and ran from God. I started struggling from an eating disorder and self harming every day. I felt so ashamed of everything and hated myself. I kept running from God. He then revealed Himself to me at church camp and I knew how loved I was. I still struggle with feelings of unworthiness and shame, but I know my Father is waiting for me. It’s such a great feeling, especially when I didn’t have a good father growing up. My dad made me question my worth and I never felt good enough for him. But this..this is different.

This song gave me my first pictures from God, it brought me closer to God and made me realise what my calling was. Since then, by trusting in him, I am studying to become a vet- God's plan for me grows every day and i have found true joy and peace living out his plan for me.

This made me realize the drifting relationship I had with God, but at the same time I realized His calling to not give up on Him. I felt very down these days that I have left God and He wouldn't accept me again. I feel Him again after a very long time!
