We have shown you what we think you should do in order to maximize your EPA at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure, but unless you want to RUIN your EPA DO NOT DO THESE 5 things!
EPA is a wonderful way to get a lot of things done during the hour prior to general park admission! Don't ruin it by making these mistakes!

Loved this vid of you guys! What not to do during EPA; wait for your family that aren’t really early morning people. You go and do your thing and then brag to them about an empty Hogsmeade and Three Broomsticks for breakfast and hot butter beer!

We are glad you enjoyed it! Kids certainly add another dynamic into the equation! Getting to the gates at 7 would be tough with little ones! Definitely Velocicoaster for the adults and enjoying some slow time in the Wizarding World is still going to make EPA worth it! And Flight of the Hippogriff if your kids are tall enough!
Hey! Just recently discovered your channel and subscribed but going back to this video from last year i wanted to recommend one other tip: If EPA is at Studios, and you are staying at a Premier Resort do NOT ride Gringotts during EPA. Express passes are not accepted during the EPA hour. EVERYONE runs to that ride, since it is the only ride in Diagon Alley, during that EPA time. If you've got express, do things that express is not accepted for: Ollivanders wand shop show, the shopping in general, performing magic in the wand spots. For Islands, there are so many rides open that its okay to hit up Velocicoaster and Forbidden Journey (even though they accept express), but if you're in studios, wait until the park officially opens and you can ride Gringotts with a much shorter wait!

Our first epa we were some of the very first to go in. Us being older we were just walking to hagrids. All these people behind us broke into a dead run about half way there. When we got to hogsmead we looked over at hagrids which was completely empty. Then we looked up and there was probably 200 people coming at us in a dead run. They had all ran right past it. It was a walk on for us lol
Haha that’s awesome! Slow and and steady wins the race! There’s not a big reason to run! Hagrid’s isn’t going anywhere! Being ready to put your stuff in a locker can save you more time in our opinion 🤷🏻♂️
@fudge_factor yeah I always just carry what I need in my pockets so most of the time I don't worry about lockers. Saves a lot of time
@@richardvogel1195 that’s the best way to do it if you can!! We always have to apologize to people cause putting the camera stuff away takes a minute 😂. Definitely a game of Tetris
New to the channel! I'm also an AP and park "pro", but I like watching videos in-between trips. You two are great!! You are not only informative, but super entertaining!! (I knew you were a "good" channel when you recommended NOT riding Hagrid's during EPA!! It's a rookie mistake! 🤣) --- My best EPA tip = Do all the Spells in WWOHP. This is the best time. Everyone is on rides!! You can take as long as you want / need to practice or perform because no one will be waiting behind you. I can often do ALL the spells, grab a butterbeer, ride FJ with time to spare before EPA ends!! This is great for parents with small children that will need more time!

When used incorrectly you just spend the whole time waiting for Hagrid’s….no fun! That’s a great note for parents! We didn’t even consider that aspect! Great insights!!
Ben forgetting his room key reminds me of me forgetting the credit card I used to purchase HHN express passes for Will Call lol Thankfully, the kind folks at guest services were able to help us out!

Hey now! Forgetting a room key for EPA can happen to the best of people! 😂😉 but yes, can easily do Velocicoaster 3-4 times during EPA! 🦖🎢
Hahaha that’s how we know an email will work! 😉. We rode Velocicoaster a few times back to back later in the trip…major key there….if it’s a low wait, just leave your stuff in the locker and go ride again!
I think you definitely need big pumpkins! And remember, it’s easier to ask forgiveness then permission….😂😂😂

When I did epa, I did hagrids 1 day, and managed to do velocicoaster after because I somehow was near the front of hagrids despite slowly walking to the line.
On my first day of epa, velocicoaster was down so I did hippogriff, forbidden Journey and ate at the hp resteraunts
Some days you just have to make the most of a less than ideal situation when rides are down! Hogsmeade being empty is awesome! What did you think of the breakfast?

@@americanvintageadventures yes! You can get in whenever after epa opens! You will just will be behind the first wave of people!
@fudge_factor that's what I told them...I think they may have been thinking of it like Stay and Scream where they let you in and then close the gates at like 5pm and if you arent there before that, you have to wait outside

This is a great video! Is the single rider line open for Hagrids during EPA? I’m such a freak when I leave the hotel room, I double and triple check to make sure I have everything I need 😂
No, single ride is not open during epa. Just the one queue for epa. Haha we will from now on! 🤣😅

Correct! No hotel key required if you have the annual pass that allows you in during epa!
