2:43: unless I'm misunderstanding you, I don't think that's how the ability works. The FAQ says that the wording of the whole ability changes, not that additional wording is added so that both effects still appear on the card.
It did make me laugh though when they fixed the problem of Velmorn doing something really safe for his first activation - and then rewarding Grinkrak for doing a move or guard as his first action.
Can you guys clarify the command counter change? The errata says that the reaction wording changes, not that is added to, so the fact that Velmorn gets a counter after activating has now gone and he should only get it at the beginning of the round.......
the change reads "Use this once per round in the first reaction step of the action phase." so it happens in the first reaction step of each round we may have slightly misremembered it in this video and suggested he could get one after his activations also which is not correct
1st reaktion step in a turn happens just after someone decides who will activate 1st. in other words Velmorn starts the game with his token before first activation. Their stats are also not that bad when U consider that 3 of them are supported by Velmorn and because of said suports they realy benefit from weapon upgrades whtich is very relevant in Nemesis or Championship format. They aren't the best warband like Ephilim but they look very solid. Only problem is that they get punished if they don't land a single crit in 1st round but now they can at least fish for it every activation instead of wasting them to get Velmorn's counter.

I read the errata the way the new text replaces the old Deadly Command ability - and the old way is not mentioned in the new text. IMHO that means the old way is gone, novadays you can get the Command Counter in the first reaction of a round *only*.
Still doesn't fix the part where the sons of V. inspires on crits and basically all of them roll 2 dice for attack. And the deck is pretty weak. Compared to their core box counterpart they're still laughable.
Completely agree with what you said about Supports being better now. It makes it feel more strategic.

Agreed. Arguably it saves up to 3 activations. It doesn't help the challenges of being a R1, M3 warband, but it's still significant.

ooh well hope the changes are good as someone who has only 2 painted Underworlds Warbands and Velmorns mob being one of them
ahh they're still rubbish. sad times. I have them and the Shaedborn painted. I should probably just give up now 🤣

velmorn are underrated. they have more wounds (18) than most warbands. you have to use that for your advantage. try.
its a shame the rest of their stats suck so much lol
