This guy catches flack because he ISN'T controversial, but he is one of the best boxers to ever lace them up. I dont even think boxers need to go to the Olympics now, but a gold medal sits on his mantle, much respect for the undefeated Andre Ward, one of my favorite boxers.
Without a doubt. That Sullivan Barrera, Chad Dawson, second Kovalev fight, and super six, showed how dominant he could be when he wanted to be.
I see where u coming from, but i think he's one of the best boxers of the past era but far from being one of the greatest of all time. I can easily name 20 before Andre.

Just after 2010. Notice that i said he's one of the best of the past era, not one of the best ever. If you knew what era means, you wouldn't have asked that question. But since you did, I'll answer it. This list is only fighters that have fought after 2010. Imagine the list of the greatest of all time.

Stop it, Crawford is understandable, but the past 10-15 years is the last era, even Tyson had a fight in 2005. Beterbiev's doesn't even have 30 professional fights, are you kidding me? Ridiculous. Man, every time I listen to Andre on a podcast I realize this is one intelligent brother. Young men can learn a lot from Andre, always a pleasure to hear him talk.
The man is and has been an honest stand up what you see is what you get guy for all his boxing career. For that reason and the fact that he wins, he’s a good person to mark and follow.

Something about this guy, he’s always been a favorite of mine from day one. His mentality, cadence and approach to the boxing game and life. I felt like he left the game a little too quickly but, it made since to me after hearing him talk about “what is your why?” You do this? S.O.G. one of the goats!

I was really surprised when ESPN released him and kept Tim Bradley. Andre is articulate and tells it like it is. I always enjoyed his commentaries. He was one of the best at it. He gets straight to the point and doesn't beat around the bush. I'm sure he's got a lot of other things going on, but I hope to see him in a broadcast booth in the future.
