One point: how is this show and it’s writers not at the absolute top of the comedic heap??? They are brilliant and honest while maintaining balance! Come on back and Sound your Trumpet. Cheers don’t ever doubt yourself.
Hader is the exception. SNL still has no innovation. Nowadays, it’s relying solely upon people breaking character in order to be funny, because they know the sketches are awful. When Hader and Armisen left after season 38, I realized I was only watching to see how terrible the episode would be. I stopped watching 3 seasons ago, after watching the show regularly since 1988. Mr. Show is the true way. Teradalu the Bob!! 😂
J DC Correct. Tom Kenny(who's breakout voice role was the voice Heffer on Rocko's Modern Life) and Jill Talley Kenny have been married since 1993. Talley also voiced Tricia Takanawa on Family Guy & Sarah Dubois on The Boondocks. Both were on Mr. Show for a few years. In the first episode, Talley appears in the Fast Food commercial sketch sitting down with her husband rubbing the hair of her "son" while saying the f word. Kenny also appears in the "Globochem sketch seated with Talley, covering his mouth after Odenkirk's bizzare ad-lib "I don't come to where you work and slap the dick out of your mouth".
There are actually seven voices. The seventh? Well, dear viewer and - dare I say - friend, that seventh voice... [whispers] is _you_ ! :-) Goodnight, everybody! [waves]
Po, SpongeBob, Tobias Funke, and Saul Goodman all in one sketch.
Mister peanut butter as well
Probably the most talent ever combined in one comedy sketch
hell no, but its a great cast.
Tom and Jill are absolutely dynamite together ❤️
"With the velveteen touch of a DANDY fop..."
the name of the episode is
Odenkirk's voice is fucking priceless in this one.
Only one donut left sir.
That was the next sketch! "Keep the shan-jah"

The Velveteen Touch of a Dandy Fop
The best part is when Bob yells at Tom, “sit down, youre no use to me!” lol
the fact that jack black is in this is crazy
"He said give 'er a Kung-Fu!"
More innovation in one sketch than SNL has had in a decade
Love Mr show but don't be discrediting Bill Hader and his Vietnam Puppet

@@CheefChaos the only decent cast member.
I just noticed David creepily rubbing his chest while telling everyone he's going to be at Holiday Inn Spot at Nashua New Hampshire all weekend.
Except David botched Nashua and said “Nashanua”.
i always wondered why he does this. didnt seem like part of the sketch
nashanua
Sounds like something "Dr. Jealousy" would say...
Yeah it's a joke
So many layers with many of their sketches. Always brilliant 👏🏻
is that Jack Black as the gay fella?
Yes, a very young version.
and tom said marry me i can see our future we are going to do silly voices and buy an island in the Caribbean
Jordan Peterson's Psychological Hierarchy
You leave that man alone!
He’s a national treasure (of both the US and Canada). :)
@@vickielawson3114 oof
i love how at the end the gay voice just spanks himself
That’s Jack Black.
6 voices fight until there is only one left!!! Hahaha oh gosh. I truly think this is a deeper insight into the human psyche than a simple punchline.
I just heard about this on the Stay F. Homkins podcast
does this skit head to the one donut left skit?
Spoiler: They're married in real life.
Also... THATS TOM KENNY
+J DC Jill Talley Kenny is the lady he's trying to woo. She, too is also a well known voice actress.
She is! In fact she's Planktons computer wife in Spongebob - Tom Kenny is spongebob

What's funny is those two actually did get married.
They were already married IRL.

I lost it at that one. The best thing is that Bob goes on to pronounce it correctly a few seconds later.
I work in mental health, and I agree that these are the dominant voices in people's heads. lol
Ironic the couple breaking up is married IRL
why is jack black here?
He was friends with them and I believe they helped produce this Tenacious D show in the 90s
