One of the most important moments in British TV history, and it's got less than 600 views. Stunning. Mind you, thanks for uploading.
I saw this interview live in London. In fact they kept the TV station open past the close time to continue the interview. It caused a sensation in England at the time and the press was consumed with the story. This became an important investigative story and burnished Frost's credentials as a hard hitting interviewer. I wish the interviewers in the US would be more hard hitting with their politicians.
David Frost in the 1960s was truly a unique legend, So sad to hear the news of his death but he will live forever.
David may you rest in Peace thank you, television interviewing has never been the same without you
Thanks for uploading!
Thanks for uploading.
RIP, Frosty...
@dcasey77 Well spotted! I've seen this piece a number of times and never noticed him. I have noticed OTHER celebs in TV audiences - when actors had done their piece at studio complexes, they would often drift around and watch other shows' tapings, if they had some time to spare. I suspect Eric had been working on "Do Not Adjust Your Set".
he is a disgrace to Sri Lankans. Well done Frost! RIP
I remember watching this programme with my father who was spitting feathers by the end of it due to the despicable Savrundra.
as i was watching this i was wondering when is David going to floor him for his extreme arrogance n lies I don't think in the history of con men has there ever been one with so much arrogance
two peasants didn't like this video
@rideforever, this isn't a BBC programme, this was made by ITV company Rediffusion, no relation at all in any way shape or form to the BBC.
Aidan Lunn Actually, I think it was London Weekend Television by this time...
It wasn't, this was in 1967, so it was Rediffusion. LWT didn't take to the air until August 68.
