Professor D I literally had to tell my professor today after a final that I picked the right answer for one of the questions because I heard you telling me in my head “You see that word “severe”? You better pick that answer choice! 😂 you’re the best professor D! ❤❤❤

MY QUEEEEN!!! Listened to this on my way to class this morning and got my first A on an exam in nursing school. I'm sending you a gift basket when I pass my NCLEX ❤❤❤
Professor D, watching this video as a refresher as I'm getting ready to take NCLEX. I know I will pass on my first try, G-d already gave it to me, it's mine! Thank you for being such a blessing to all of us! 😊🙏❣
Sulforaphane, kaempferol and other antioxidants found in this remarkable group of plants are likely responsible for their anti-inflammatory effect Summary: Cabbage contains powerful antioxidants that may help reduce inflammation.- this is what I found Professor D! Love your videos!
I have been doing uworld to study for my nclex and I am tired of reading rationales!! I know that if I watch all of her videos I will pass! pray for me!
Nclex exam won't be a problem if you work with someone like Mrs Josephine....she's God sent, she saved me form taken the exam for the 6th time You can contact her
Thank you times infinity for what you do! I wouldn't be passing my exams without having your videos!!!!! Keep them coming!!! I Will accept anything and everything lol
Researchers say cabbage leaves contain anti-irritant and antibiotic properties, which may help relieve tissue congestion, improve blood flow, help with drainage, and relieve engorgement.
You style of teaching is phenomenal!!❤ i love that you are talking loud and clear bc that info just quickly absorbed in my head like yes ma'm you just said thatt😅 Thank you ! I loveee her yelling!!! It really keeps me engaged and hammers the topics into my brain. Nurse Sarah has an amazing channel as well but she is too much of a softy. I find that I fall asleep during her videos whereas I am always alert and attentive to Nexus's videos!
The phytochemical present in the cabbage help reduce inflammation so the nurse also placed crush cabbage leaves on the patient breasts. I just did a question practice I saw it so of course I picked it cause earlier I heard you mentioning them
I was slacking to have this refresher on maternal nursing but ma'am you made me take the time i needed to learn. I am hopeful this time i will make it. I don't know a student who wouldn't love to came to class with an instructor like you. Thank you so much.
This video was so helpful ! I wish i would have discovered you earlier in this semester, my Maternity final is tomorrow and were going to be tested heavily on prenatal care. Any priority tips you can give me to focus on for this stage ?
I know that this video is very old, but cabbage leaves work because there's an enzyme in the leaf that helps with inflammation when it sits on the skin.
This unusual form of therapy is effective because the cabbage leaves absorb some of the fluid from the glands within the breast area, reducing the fullness in the tissue. Many moms see some reduction in engorgement within 12 hours of starting it.
I subscribe to you today. I love your teaching. I took my NCLEX on August 18 2021 unfortunately I failed. Im so stress right now. I set another date for october 29th. So, Im watching all your video. Great job.
UWORLD had a similar question for breast engorgement and it said for cabbage leaves the mechanism of action is unknown but may be related to the cold temp or a substance from the leaves!
yasss🙌🏿 thank you for this vid!! true life saver! taking maternity/peds/mental health/advance nursing my final semester of lpn which is only 13 weeks!! so it is very crammed!
According to healthline, Because of certain plant compounds found in cabbage, the leaves may have an anti-inflammatory effect on breast tissue when applied directly to your skin.
THANK YOU! I wish my professors would explain information in this manner. Its the best and you're extremely helpful when it comes to simplifying answers. APPRECIATE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING!
Professor D!!!🗣 I 🗣PASSED🗣 NCLEX!! 🗣HONEY!!!! I saw and heard you through all of them darn SATA questions!! Treat the pt not the machine!! I just TOLD YOU! STOP WHAT IS OFFENDING YOUR PT!!! To those coming behind me KNOW YOUR CONTENT! if you know the content you can figure it out!
I almost died on site when it cut off at 75 questions, i had prepared myself for the full 130... Thank you because when i couldn't read another word i did your videos and between you and REMAR nurse had me dominate thr NCLEX
People don't really know why cabbage leaves work. It does have anti inflammatory properties but that of you ingest it so IDK what topical effects make it work but apparently it works really well. Some say to not use it as often as it can reduce your milk supply though. That's pretty cool though, I like it when we can find some more cheap and natural options when possible..
I love your videos. We are covering maternity and newborn right now. I have really struggled with it. These videos have helped me so much. Thank You for taking the time to share your knowledge. :) I would love to see a video with “Select all that apply” questions. Those will be the death of me.
Professor D!! I discovered you during my LPN course. Pls include NGN questions too...as that is what we will now be seeing on the NCLEX. Thank you so much for helping me during my journey. I just shared your TH-cam channel on my page for current nursing students and aspiring nursing students. Once again, thank you!
The exact reason cabbage leaves are so effective isn’t certain. Cabbage, like all cruciferous vegetables, contains anti-inflammatory properties, which are likely to play a role. What is certain is that cabbage leaves have helped many women ease pain from mastitis and engorgement.
