You are God's gift to Nursing. Just came to say thank you. I sat NCLEX Feb 4th and passed!!!!!!! Been listening to you for a year, even my kids know how to answer questions now from hearing you all the time. May God double bless you forever.
I am a mother/nurse of a nursing student and I want to say thank you so much for the education in nursing you are providing the future nurses. Your method of teaching is so conducive for learning. As a black nurse it is so important to see professors that look like you and understand the difference that we encounter in the medical field. Thank you for being great! Carla, RN
Please do more fundamentals videos! I absolutely loved how you explained the rationale for all the wrong and right answers. A beginning chapters to end chapters of review questions would be wonderful!
Praise GOD I just found out I passed my NCLEX!! Thank you so much for all your helpful videos that helped me to pass boards and nursing school!!! We love you Professor D. and thank God for you!!
I did it! Graduated with my PN and in two weeks will take nclex. I am always hearing your voice at my new Rehab/skilled/nursing home job about “passing the buck”, ABCs, protecting my license, using critical thinking skills etc!! Thank you!!! Bless you!!!
Professor D., thank you for that prayer. It was on point. My family and I just got hit with COVID and I have to miss some school. I am praying I don’t fall behind. And to say nursing school does end, I needed to hear that. God bless you and thank you again.
Ive learned more here in 30 minutes than what i have in my first 2 weeks of semester 1 from my instructor...lol...your video was alot of help thank you🙏
I love your videos! They have been so helpful. Thank you so much for praying and reminding me that God has lead me to this career choice and to keep him first . I can place all my worries and anxiety in his hands .
I passed my nclex and had to give you a shout out! I had two questions come up where your voice was in my head “are we a killer?”. Thank you thank you thank you!
My instructor introduced us to your content using your video on nutrition. You are helping me to learn so much more by becoming so thorough and in your delivery. Thank you.
I would love to see more of these fundamental/ foundation questions with rationals . I would not mind the book rationals as well. As a new student it is not common sense but a critical way of thinking. I really thought my answers were correct until you gave the rationale, which gave the answer more depth. Thank you Professor D!
Have learnt alot . Please prof D make more fundamentals. I have been recommending this channel to my fellow learners. I like the way you explain the answers.
Hi, have you posted patient center care video , I have been looking for it in your channel I couldn’t find it, if so please let me know. His bless you for you hard work appreciate it very helpful
Regarding the question about the legal protection, I thought we would be protected if we help someone at an automobile accident? Under The Good Samaritan law or is that completely different? Thank you for the reviews!!!
That's what I thought too. I'm in Washington and I know that my state gives a healthcare provider protection under the Good Samaritan Law as long as: 1. The person did not decline help 2. The services provider were not compensated in any way (money, etc). 3. The healthcare provider does not leave the victim 4. The healthcare provider calls 911 as soon as possible. This is likely a state by state law, which is why it is not correct for this question. It reminds me of some of the CNA or UAP delegation questions where some CNAs and UAPs can do more in certain states, but we know that all CNAs and UAPs can take vital signs and do I&Os. That's my thought, although I would've gotten this specific question wrong on the NCLEX because I would've chose the CPR on the child in the pool.
@Lynsey Gates I was always told the book and class room teachings are different than the real life setting. So that's where we, and I say we bc I'm a phlebotomist and former nursing aide but anyone who has some medical background and experience who knows a lil about the caring of a patient or take care of patients we have to stop thinking as what we do in real life and learn how the book wants us to learn it & I know the books are totally different than how we interact with people and patients in reality.
@@lynseygates3017 I believe from the options all can be correct but which one is most correct. You will be protected from legal action if you are within and follow those guidelines only. But the correct answer doesn’t have any guidelines to follow, so reporting it is correct and has protection under every circumstance
What nursing action is protected? Once you told that in accident situation NURSE can do First Aid CPR.. AND he/she will be protected by law. Kindly explain thnx.
