Still crying about your fanfiction not being a thing huh?? The biggest reason people love to hate the sequel trilogy is because they are slapping their fanfiction and crying "that's not Star Wars!!" As if what you want is what is SUPPOSED to be 🤣🤣
I think it’s a good thing they cut the scene with Palpatine trying to turn Anakin against Padme since, due to the writing of Episodes 2 and 3, protecting Padme had almost seemed like an obsession for Anakin. Going by the films alone, it was the whole reason he was tempted to turn on the Jedi to begin with. I feel like if Palpatine had tried to convince Anakin that Padme would betray him or that he (Palpatine) was in some way in direct opposition to her, it would’ve turned Anakin against him rather than drawing him further in. As for Vos’ deleted “death” scene, in Legends, it still happened that way in the comics, and he still survived. He and the clone commander who gave the order to fire on him then went on bloody revenge paths as they each tried time and again to kill one another. Finally, while on the subject of Luke’s lightsaber color in Return of the Jedi, during the scene on the catwalk leading to the shuttle up to the Death Star where Vader ignites Luke’s lightsaber and says, “I see you’ve constructed a new lightsaber…”, instead of being green, the blade was originally supposed to be red while in Vader’s hands, showing that the color of a lightsaber was dependent on the personality and alignment in the Force of the person holding it. I still think I prefer the current lore we have with the crystal being the “heart of the blade,” but I do find the original concept interesting nonetheless.
One of my big complaints about the prequels was they spent too long on kiddie Anakin in episode one when they could have moved on with the plot, potentially leaving more time for the gradual building of the relationship with the emperor. RotS was a decent movie which could have been even better if they had been able to take a little more time building this relationship. Scenes like the one highlighted in the video could then have been included, and I think it would have been better for it.
"torchered " did you mean tortured? lol how can anyone take you seriously when can't even spell that simple word. Turn auto correct on so you don't look so dumb. lol.
No no no. Do you know anything? Han met Chewie when Han was 19 almost twenty. I guess you have never read a star wars novel have you? Ever read anything other than youtube comments?
Really starting to feel like there needs to be an extended/directors cut of revenge of the sith. Extra palpatine manipulation, original dooku fight concept, extended brothers dual, more detail in the temple raid... bring it lucas
The only thing I like about the sequels is the first scene in The Force Awakens where the First Order troopers are revealed, they were genuinely intimidating
The thing that I still don't understand, even after all of these years, is how all of the rank and file clones, turned on the Jedi so instantaneously after Order 66 was implemented. Palpatine issued the orders directly to the individual commanders, right? so wouldn't the commanders have issued the orders to the colonels, who issued them to the battalion commanders, who issued them to the captains, the captains to the lieutenants, to the platoon sergeants, to the squad leaders, to the privates? All of this would have taken several hours to do at the soonest, not counting those clones who were in direct earshot of the issuing officer of course This is how it's done in a regular army But each and every individual clone turned against the Jedi instantly How?
What was my favorite sequel trilogy moment? None. Unless any right-wing reactionary assholes end up reading this. In which case my favorite moment was when Rey and Finn have that conversation about how all the bad guys in the galaxy are white people. Just like in real life.
Chewbacca is supposed to be a super strong intimidating short tempered pirate henchman (with a heart of gold). And yet... Chewbacca has been captured in one form or another in nearly all of his movie appearances, often more than once within a single film. WAZUPWITDAT!? 🤷🤷🤷🤷
Well, in ANH he got "captured" with all the others on the fracking Death Star, in TESB he also got "captured" but not really, more held hostage. Luke and Han were the targets. And in ROTJ his capture was pretty much planned. And the Ewok thing was not really a dangerous situation for him. Edit, typo
Solo - Starts in bondage Revenge of the Sith - This counts for 'nearly' as he got away with it here A New Hope - Taken 'prisoner' by Solo and Skywalker as a decoy Empire - Vader on Cloud City Jedi - Again as a decoy but legitimately locked up by Jabba Force Awakens - Held at gunpoint, so almost taken! Last Jedi - I don't remember because I hate it. RoS - Yeah, Kylo. Torture. Etc. You're right. Only two movies where he noticeably isn't locked up or held at gunpoint. Wow.
3:07 This scene was my favorite in the new trilogy. One of the only good parts in episode 8. The green lightsaber looked better. I've seen people edit Luke's lightsaber blue and I could see it just fine. 6:56 The trailer had a blue lightsaber? 9:08 I'm bummed that we didn't see her take her helmet off in the movie although I think there are images where she had it off.
The sequels are not my favourite. So know one liked it when Luke raised his xwing. Or when R2 projected Leia to give Luke the kick he needed. Or “Chewy, we’re home”. C’mon.
My favorite thing about the sequel trilogy is despite the horrible writing, major plot holes (where did the First Order come from and how come the New Republic had to use the Resistance to fight it) is... Nothing. Disney ruined Star Wars for me. So, why am I here? Watching TH-cam shorts on my phone.
The only Jedi we haven't seen yet post Order 66 that I want to see isn't Quinlan, but rather is Bariss Offee. As an Iquisitor. And have her and Ahsoka go at it. I rather like that we, nor Vader, or Obi-Wan, know what happened to Quinlan Vos. It really fits that character.
There isn't a single redeeming quality of the sequel trilogy. A bad remake, an utterly horrible deconstruction, and a poor attempt at fan service to bring it back.
Favorite sequel moment? The end credits.
Anyone else remember the disguised clones from the Ruin of the Jedi level in The Complete Saga?
Omg I remember playing that with my older brother❤❤ gotta be the best lego star wars game gbh I can't seem to get into the skywalker saga if I was younger and it was the time of complete saga maybe I'd enjoy it more blabbering over lol
Yes
3:08 my favorite moment was November 2015, back before the sequels were released and I had optimism that they'd be any good.
Bruh the way you said " Captain phasma gets turned on" sounded like different context.
🤓🤓
Exactly what I was thinking, I litterally said what out loud
My favorite thing about the sequel trilogy is that it’s fiction and I can ignore the whole thing.
Very true.

Favorite sequel moment?
Lando taking off his mask to reveal himself and Chewie getting excited to see him.
3:08 my fave sequel moment is seeing the ever awesome John Williams’ cameo
"What is your favourite sequel moment"?
When the screen finally went black.
7:00 should also add the cover art of the original VHS copies of ROTJ had luke with a blue lightsaber too

My favorite part of the last trilogy was seeing the ending credits roll so I could end the mediocrity.
Chewie being torchered would have still been better than a fake death cop-out.
"torchered " did you mean tortured? lol how can anyone take you seriously when can't even spell that simple word. Turn auto correct on so you don't look so dumb. lol.
Tortured? Or lit up with a torch?
You should do a video on the parallels between Star Wars and Hinduism
They are both made up? That's only connection.
Favorite sequel moment? The fan-edits that remove jar jar
Easy...my favorite scene from the sequels: Force Awakens "Chewie We're Home".
Best bit of the sequels was when after the repulsive Fin/Poe Topgun escape, Poe seemingly copped it. Did imagine for a minute it might get really good
Favorite sequel moment?
Rey.
Just. Every moment with Rey (Excluding Ep.9)
And Finn too.
My favorite thing of the sequal trilogy is when the credits roll
Ive gone from love star wars to hate star wars. Thanks Disney
That feels reductive
I always liked the blue sabre in rotj photographs. The colour went well with lukes dark outfit.
Oh, that type of "turned on" 🤣 That makes sense....Was wondering how'd they'd slip in something like asphyxiation.
Hi it's really good video
Not only was Chewie Han's best friend, but he likely was around raising him as a child.

Yall made it to the end?
The first Lego Star Wars game on the PS2 had the clones in disguise, and 8 yr old me thought the game did it first 😂😂

My favourite sequel(s) moment was the falcon chase in episode 7, it was all downhill for the series (rapidly!) from there 🤦🏻♂️
My favorite part of the sequels was the credits at the end of the third movie.
I don’t think there would have been a green sabre had it not been changed for Luke
What's with all the 'uhhhhh' noises? 🤣
There are no episodes past VI. The last trio of "movies" are not cannon.
