Congratulations on your marriage. Best wishes. Cool guitar. I visited Tokyo last year and also enjoyed checking out the guitar stores including the Fender Flagship Store.
Congratulations man! I went to Japan back in March and experienced the same thing - employees were so kind and gracious. Bought some Bakery Effects pedals and love em. Next time I'll come home with a guitar
Congratulations on your marriage! All the best. Loving the slide course though not ready to gig in standard yet, still dragging around 2 guitars 🙂 Will get there eventually. Cheers
Dude, it looks like a Supro Belmont. I just saw Ian Moore last month, and he was using a single pickup '50s Supro Belmont for his slide work! What a coincidence..
Hi Dylan, it is so good to get me know you by youtube. Thx for presenting yourself here and only the best things for you and your wife. Since you been living in the States and I `m here in Germany, this seems to be the only way for me to get in touch with you. I´m an old man now getting 73 next March, I play guitar since I was 12. I started Slide-playing at the age of 14 and I thought I was quite good at it. Than, during the last few years I discovered you, Ariel Posen, Joe Landreth, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, just to name a few. What a trip! I`m writing here to ask if you ever got in contact to the lapsteel and slide playing of a guy wo died 2022 by the name of Kelly Joe Phelps. His sofisticated stiles compared with his unbelivable singing nearly brought me to cry when i first heard it. Specially his chord playing on his National led me to rethink every thing I had learned before musically. Maybe this could be some new input for you too. Anyway, I just now feel really comfortable playing Slide in standard tuning thanks to you who gave me the idea. So today
Great video, Dylan! Congrats on the wedding and that is an awesome guitar. It does look a lot like a Harmony Juno. If you have not delved into the amazing genius of Mississippi Fred McDowell on electric, please check it out. He played in open E - same intervals as open D - and is just too awesome.
Congratulations Dylan - you obviously chosen the perfect bride! My funky guitar for open tuning is a teardrop shape Vox, as used by Brian Jones on the Rolling Stones version of Little Red Rooster. It has 3 single coil pickups in Strat configuration, but they are the hottest single-coils I have come across. It sounds really gnarly!
I went to Japan 2 years ago. Asked to try a really cool ESP offset guitar. One of the guys in the store ended up jamming with me. Having said that in another store there weren’t super happy with me playing.
Sounds nice... Good choice.... Congratulations on your marriage 🎉 Nice to know different cultures still respect one another and not steal from each other....I noticed it was very clean there too....I have a Japanese strat l bought back in 1984....it is one of the best intruments I own....the Japanese build an excellent instrument....
Dang, I wish I could catch yall while you were here in Japan… I was there in Ochanomizu absolutely Kurosawa yesterday. When you get a chance to come back to Japan especially Tokyo, you should go to Okubo. About 15 minutes away from Ochanomizu.
One additional thought about the shopping “ritual”: by treating everyone the same, and as if they are complete beginners, they are greatly reducing the intimidation factor for any complete beginners. It’s welcoming for all players, regardless of skill level, something that many American stores could be better at.
Ah, sorry, a second thought: we Americans generally want a shopping experience to be as easy and friction-free as possible. But in those Japanese stores, and you’ll often see the same thing in France, and I’m sure elsewhere, the process is partly about the salesperson being able to practice their craft, demonstrate their professional skill, etc. Those cultures aren’t as individualistic as ours, and shopping is a social process.
Congrats to you and your beautiful wife. My wife bought me a Les Paul as a wedding gift during our honeymoon in Nashville. Here’s to having a cool wife. 🍻

Congrats on the marriage and the sweet guitar! Rollin' and Tumblin is such a fun tune to play.
10:39 man I could listen to you do that swampy southern blues thing all day.

Congrats to you two! Sounds like the honeymoon was awesome as well!
Thanks so much!
I'm sure the employees were impressed when you started jamming Dylan, I always am...congrats on your new baby!

Well, this explains the guitar that Mom and I saw you caring in one of your honeymoon videos! 😅
Yuuup, guess I forgot to mention it 😅
I’ve been looking at a harmony juno for the same thing . They look very similar in size and style . Very cool guitar
That sounds so sick. Congrats on getting hitched. Came back with a cool guitar to boot.
Holy Hound Dog Taylor Batman! Awesome!
Congratulations on your marriage. Good luck and it sounds like you have a keeper. Just like my wife. Amazing. And wow! I love that guitar
The course is excellent. Highly recommend it.
That bad boy sounds gritty, nasty and full of bluesy fire breathin TONE! Nice find, and your Beautiful wife too! God Bless you both.
47% I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE 😄

Watching this on the way to tokyo!
10 hours left on this flight 😅

I notice yours does not have the ignition key. LOL Nice to travel. SALES service who could wish for in USA.
That’s cool, it appears to be a knock off Supro an Ozark or similar.
Slide in standard tuning...strings 2 3 and 4 are major...1 2 and 3 are minor.
Now i want to learn open tuning and I'm still working on std tuning.
How can I buy one?
master
One for standard, one for opens...is it.
With your wife's permission you kept saying... dude stop
Congratulations 🎉 All the best for you and your family
