Very Good future, but learn more practical on hand training especially on cabling, relays and sensors, PLC'S and DCS, trouble shooting of industrial electronics, overhauling of motors. If you are already comfortable with those before your joining you will advance very fast. Do learn your basics of handling multimeters and meggers. ETO s job is independent and analytical. Be prepared.
