Great tool Arch! I have two riders. Jd and Snapper. This could be useful in the arsenal of cutting tools. And the scissors were sharp too i see.(haircut). always a great day Arch when i watch the channel .
if u unscrew the blade block all the way out flip the the blade lock over right over left blade will tighten UP Do that to close the clamping pin closer to the blade
The reason for the offset is exactly why it is mad that way to be able to adapt to narrow blades , the factory angle for most mower blades is 30 to 45 degrees
Arch, instead of lifting the blade on the two screws, why don't you just lay the aluminum flat insert on the opposite side of the of the blade... next to the screws that you are loosening? That would give you the lift on the right side of the blade, while lowering it on the left... :)
Its not a flat piece of alum, its an angle piece that was ripped a bit. This way it supports the back side of the blade and shims it forward because some blades are too narrow and they wont tighten into the jaw or vice section.
People in my area really don’t care if blade is sharp or not, just as long as it will knock down weeds and little grass, they complain about 5 bucks to sharpen the blade 😢😢😢

Most new blades have an angle anywhere from 30 to 45 degee. Every manufacturer has recommended angles for their equipement to optimize cut
The last inch of blade does 90% of the actual cutting of the grass.
The one thing that is a strange thing is why all different on lawn mower blades is the actual cutting area on the blade
Cuz everyone seems to have a Great Idea! lol
@@TheNovaJohn you got that right right uncle Archie 🤣😂💵💸

the short grind in the middle is about 15% about 30% on the end of blade. all so need adapter. For HONDA 2Blade

Did you attempt to simply turn the clamp side 180 degrees
Yes,, I showed that toward the end!
The tool is fine, just remember it's from China. You have to improvise with the tool.
Soooooo true!! It does work well and seems beefy enuff to last for many years!
It's an awesome in-depth review of the blade sharpener. Thanks for sharing.
