Honestly, childbirth is scary enough without people’s unsolicited opinions and horror stories. I had a hospital birth in the states, and I ended up having a c-section. All that matters is that you and baby are healthy. I honestly cannot wait to see these two become parents, I stumbled on their TikTok’s/shorts by accident before I got pregnant and it’s been so great seeing their journey through all of this!
I can’t believe he is almost here. I have been with you the whole pregnancy and before! And it was so nice to hear Connor say it was up to you with the birth because it was you birthing the baby. That is a true kind answer!! And you both are going to be the best parents! I can’t wait to see Babi grow up! Edit: I just saw liana’s face when she fit in the box 😂 her reaction was priceless
I love your attitude toward birth- wherever mom is most comfortable and feels safest is the best place for her to birth, because so much of what makes a birth go well is mama being comfortable. I’ve had three home births, two in the water. It is such a wonderful experience. You’re going to do so well!
I'm from the United States and wheather you have a home birth or at a hospital, there are risks either way. As long as you have done the research and have everything prepared (which it seems like you do) it is a beautiful and more Personal experience than in a hospital. You'll do great. I wish I had the option to have a water birth.
it's absolutely mad how fast this has all gone past. It feels like just yesterday when the pregnancy test was taken! I can't wait to meet babi, he's going to be so lucky with an amazing family and lots of fans! I hope you have a good experience with the birth. The space looks great! Good luck!
Can’t believe how fast this has gone, my cousin found out she was pregnant 6 weeks after you announced your pregnancy, so when you say you’ve only got a couple of weeks left it makes me realise how close my cousin is! However, I get to follow two beautiful journeys at once!🥰
I wish you guys knew how much joy your channel brings me !!! ive been watching you guys for at LEAST 3 years now and watching how much you guys have grown, moving houses, becoming parents, making all these big life changes 😭 its so amazing that baby boy is going to be the luckiest kid in this world. hes got the best two humans as parents hands down ❤🥺
A tip I like to share with those expecting who are opting out of an epidural. One good thing I found to have in the room during birth was something to help focus the seconds on (an analog clock) because I could focus on the tick tocks through the contractions and to me it helped them not seem as long.
I'm currently 2 months pregnant and I have been watching you guys for a while, especially your pregnancy crazy yet adorable times. Even if home birth won't be an option for me, seems it will work for you and that's all that matters. As for the room you can add some more accent lighting, as a floor lamp, some large pillows for the midwifes and hubby to be comfortable near the mommy-to-be , enough seating for everyone, snacks and water, some towels for the edges of the pool, αn absorbent mat for obvious reasons, maybe music...I hope the best for you! Good luck!
Congratulations!! I hope that you have a wonderful pregnancy and a smooth birth! If a home birth isn’t an option (or even if it is) I would recommend looking into a midwife and a doula. They can help you have a more peaceful birth no matter where you are. ❤️. Congratulations again! So happy and excited for you!!💕💖❤️
As a young mum (pregnant at 19) I got so many people trying to tell me how to do things. Don’t listen what’s so ever!! You guys are going to do amazing! I wish I could have done a home birth ❤️ love, strength, positivity and health to the three of you 💜
I had two of my three children at home. The experience was wonderful compared to my first pregnancy which was delivered in the hospital. I was so calm and felt safe being in my own home. Good luck with all that is to come Connor and Liana :)
I have had 5 kids all natural, the only help I got was they broke my water at 8cms and pulling baby out and I have pretty large babies. It was the worst pain ever but as soon as its over you get overwhelmed with all the love you suddenly have for this little being and all the pain becomes irrelevant, you can do this Liana!! Can't wait to meet babi!! He is going to be absolutely adorable I already know it!!
I love how Liana seemed so grateful that she could still fit in a little box. It was so cute and funny!😂❤️ I love you guys and wish you all the best luck to your home birth! I don’t have any discouraging ideas. I think home birth is wonderful! ❤️🌹❤️🌹🔥🔥 I can’t wait to meet the little guy!❤️🌹
I’m in the US and I wanted a home birth desperately, but my babies were difficult and required the hospital. When I said home birth to family members, they all looked like they’d seen a freaking ghost. 🤦🏻♀️I love that you guys are having a home birth, and I know that everything will be perfect. It will be so relaxing, you won’t have to sleep apart from each other (L in the awful hospital bed and C on the awful couch that they call a bed), and you’ll be at home- that is huge! I am all for home births, especially home water births! You’re going to do great and everything will be perfect. I am speaking it and believing that you will have the most perfect, pain free as possible birth. ❤️
I was born in specifically a birthing pool, you will be absolutely fine. You have nothing to worry about. You have got so much support circling around you. Everyone (and that includes me) is praying and supporting you no matter what. You are loved, and we all can’t wait for Babi to come into not only yours and Connor’s life but the world! Xxx
Home births are so incredible. My mom had home births for me and my two sisters and she said it was so much better than what she’d seen about hospitals since you can do things the way you want to do them. Also, don’t listen to the people saying they are “unsafe.” When my mom gave birth to my little sister, her crappy midwife (who sucks for reasons I won’t get in to) said that she needed to go to the hospital because my sister had a problem with her umbilical cord but my mom refused and my sister was born just fine.
I feel like having some small plants like cacti or something in the room would look really cute! I'm really excited for you and I can't wait to meet the little baby boy 💕
Had my baby boy 5 months ago at home in my bedroom. It was SO much better than my hospital experience with my first. I was so relaxed and happy and my labor was only 7 hours long. He was a big boy at 9 lbs 2 oz and I had zero tearing. My Midwives were AMAZING and so attentive and I trusted them completely. I never want to have another baby at the hospital it was not a good experience for me at all. But to each their own. You go Liana! You've got this. 😊
I live in the states and HOME BIRTH occurs a lot. I have at least a dozen friends, family that did home birth. As a matter of fact, those that did it with their first child loved it so much did home birth for the rest of their children. They always planned for the worst occuring - but only one person had to go to hospital and all was fine. Ignore the negative, and follow your heart because at the end of the day, your life is your life - you do you :) Love you guys so much!!
My mum has experienced both birth at home and birth in hospital, she said it was a lot easier at home than at a hospital. I hope your baby boy is very strong and healthy and I'm excited to meet him! I just know you and Connor are going to be lovely parents and I can't wait to stick around and watch him grow up with you guys doing a great job!
Ahh how fast has those 9 months gone it feels like only yesterday you announced that you were pregnant! I honestly cant wait for baby boy to arrive and to see what you have named him! Congratulations Conner and liana💙
I think it’s great that your having a home birth! I can understand that you feel a lot more comfortable in your home than a hospital. Remember to think positive and ignore any negative comments. I’m exited to see your beautiful baby boy! ❤️
So I’ve been watching you guys since the begining! I haven’t really told anyone outside my family yet… but I’m now 9 weeks along in my first pregnancy and I’m so nervous and scared but watching you guys helps a lot!
I’m due with my first (also a boy!) on June 23rd and am also doing a homebirth, here in California! I loved this video! I feel ALL THE FEELS that you guys were expressing! One thing that stood out that I wanted to mention in case this is helpful: when the time comes, my midwife told me to inflate the pool to about halfway, then put the liner on, THEN inflate the rest of the way! Otherwise she said we’d be tugging on the liner the whole time during labor, trying to get it fitted just right. Hope that’s helpful! Best of luck to you both!! ❤️
I’m soo jealous!! My Dr. told me where I live in California I couldn’t do a home birth. I was so sad. But it turns out it was a good thing because I ended up needing an emergency c section 🤦🏼♀️ I hope all goes well for you though!! I’ll be sending good vibes your way momma and congratulations on your first!!!!
Home birth is one of the best things!! U got this ❤️ ignore all the other people, ur healthy and u got 2(!) midwives👌 no worries, we believe in you guys. Can't wait to see bubi 💘
I live in the states and am due in 3 days. We are having an unassisted home birth. No epidural or medication whatsoever. No midwives or doulas. My husband and I have educated ourselves on what to do and I think it’s amazing that you guys are doing what YOU feel is best for YOUR baby and YOUR body. Congratulations Liana and Connor. Everything will work out for the best and God will be with you holding your hand through it all. You are strong and capable. 🫶🏻🤰🏼 You’ve got it momma!
It’s more so just for us to be able to look back at and if our kids ever wanna see it they can. I don’t like having eyes on me so I would feel uncomfortable posting myself and my child on TH-cam.
your gonna do amazing!! my mum gave birth to my sister through a home water birth and she said it was a much relaxing experience then hospital! you both are doing the right thing and know exactly what you are doing. don't listen to the people trying to freak you out and stuff because they are the ones that don't know anything. i love you both and can't wait to meet baby darlington ❤️💙
The room look great with the lights! You could put some pictures of baby boys scans for you to look at on your board. It's a nice reminder what you're working so hard for. 😊
I'm just waiting for the post where it says "Liana is in labor" I'm so happy for the 2 of you. It seems like this has went sooo fast. I can't wait to see Babi. Keep your head up love and just keep your focus on that Beautiful baby boy your about to have. Much love and positive vibes ❤️
My mom did home birth with my little brother and it turned out amazing! After he was born he was perfectly healthy we had three midwives with my mom and they were very well prepared for everything and if anything bad happened they would take her to hospital and it was like a few houses down from where we lived (He was also very adorable✨) Also don't listen to all the people saying negative thing's about home birth. I heard you were doing water birth and funny enough my mom did that with my little brother too! 😁😁✨✨
I am constantly keeping baby darlington in my prayers....everything will be fine, liana and baby will be alright don't focus on haters. I am gald that conor is being so supportive....lots of love and blessings from 🇮🇳

I’ve had 2 water births and both time were an amazing experience, I felt more in control of me and my body, and more calm You’ll be absolutely fine so happy for you guys best of luck xx
I loved watching your pregnancy journey! Wishing you the best! For the ideas: You could paint or draw a big picture or do a painting together beforehand and hang it on the wall! You can also add flowers and fairy lights like you said
Just in case no one has mentioned, gas & air makes you feel a bit sicky at first but try and push past it and that feeling goes away☺️, sending positive vibes your way 😊. Aww have you thought about creating an area where you can deliver out of the pool just in case? Good luck
All 6 of my children at home! All were perfectly healthy and I felt so connected and my family was able to be so involved. My oldest daughter helped delivery youngest two children and we plan on the same means for our baby #7. You'll do amazing!
This is so exciting i’m so happy for the both of you. there’s this thing called curtain lights which i definitely recommend if you want really calm and pretty lighting, and they’ll definitely light up the room a lot more then just the strip of fairy light. the room is getting along great i’m so excited for baby boy 🥰
I’m in the US and encourage you to ignore the one’s discouraging you from doing a home birth! I had my girls in the hospital but wish I’d have done home birth..sending lots of love and prayers for a safe and wonderful birth of little babi! 🥰
I think home births are amazing! They are much better and quiet then a hospital room and probably more comfortable so I love home births and positive energy going across the world 🌎 to yall can't wait to see Mr baby boy!💙❤
Ngl your entire pregnancy journey has made me feel much more relaxed for any future pregnancies I might have! I have thus far loved the positive vibes, so thank you, Liana and Connor 🥰
It’s getting so close!!! I hope everything goes well and as planned. All love and hope/prays for baby boy. I can tell how good parents your gonna be! ❤️
Thank you so much! I love in the US and had a homebirth with a private midwife for my first and currently only baby and the amount of people that tried to scare me out of it or were just really judgemental about my choice. People, especially in the US need to understand that homebirths are generally safe! We need more well-known people like you to show that and break the fear mindset.
It's getting so close now..! I hope the birth goes well and I wish you all the best! Don't listen to the people who shame home births. Do whatever makes you feel safe and happy. Any birth is special in anyway. Wishing you all the best! 💙💙💙
So excited for you! My own baby boy just turned 7 months old and sometimes I still can't believe that he's mine and I actually gave birth to him. Wishing you a safe and easy labor and a happy and healthy baby!
Honestly, home birth is the best idea! Bc u would have to stay in the hospital and it’s not as comfortable as home…! Lianna has chosen a good place to! I am so excited to see the babi! 37 weeks?! Wow! :)
40 minutes! I’m so excited for you and Home births are very common and I know lots of people who have had them and they were very satisfied and wouldn’t change anything. I can’t wait to see the babi!!!♥️♥️♥️
I just can’t wait until the baby boy is about 10, and you can tell him that he liked to kick you 24/7.😂 I love following your journey, and you guys are going to be great parents.💙
Rooting for you guys! You've got this Liana ❤️ thanks the both of you for sharing your journey with us thus far. Wishing you a safe and healthy delivery & baby 👶 do what feels the best for YOU and babi. Plenty of women had to do home births throughout mankind. It can very much be done safely. If women can deliver their babies accidentally in their cars on the way to the hospital, you CAN have a healthy home birth!
I hope Babi is going to be a beautiful heathy baby boy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love from America Also do not listen to what the comments say. CLFAM will always support you!💙💙💙💙
Mama of 4 here! My first two were born at home, my third in a birthing home and the fourth in a hospital because of lack of choices at the time of the birth. I hate hospitals so much that I didn’t go into labor on time because of stress and had to be induced which I hated, I was bed bound obviously and my wishes for the birth were not followed because the staff changed minutes before the birth and the new midwife didn’t know. They took my baby away even though I didn’t want to, they said I couldn’t go to a room until the baby is checked by a doctor and the doctor “couldn’t” come to us. Anyway my three first birth experiences were awesome and I loved and remember every minutes of it but my last I will remember for all the wrong reasons... if home birth is your choice and you have a good support system and a healthy pregnancy don’t let anyone scare you into thinking you are doing the wrong thing.
Thank you so much for sharing your own experiences in the comments, we’re reading them all 🥹💙

Love how liana seems so pleased with herself when she fits in the box
I love your attitude toward birth- wherever mom is most comfortable and feels safest is the best place for her to birth, because so much of what makes a birth go well is mama being comfortable.
I’ve had three home births, two in the water. It is such a wonderful experience. You’re going to do so well!
I'm from the United States and wheather you have a home birth or at a hospital, there are risks either way. As long as you have done the research and have everything prepared (which it seems like you do) it is a beautiful and more Personal experience than in a hospital. You'll do great. I wish I had the option to have a water birth.
Why is it called a water birth?
@@Mini-wd7qz because they give birth in the water? Wdym?
@@ellie-xoxo1 why do they give birth in water?
Cuz they want to-
@@Mini-wd7qz i think it's because when they are like kneeling, gravity makes it easier for the baby to come out and it's it's relaxing
it's absolutely mad how fast this has all gone past. It feels like just yesterday when the pregnancy test was taken! I can't wait to meet babi, he's going to be so lucky with an amazing family and lots of fans! I hope you have a good experience with the birth. The space looks great! Good luck!

You have really made me consider a home birth, when I finally have children thank you for sharing your experiences
A positive side to home birth!
When my sister did it, the baby was HEALTHIER than they expected.

Can’t believe how fast this has gone, my cousin found out she was pregnant 6 weeks after you announced your pregnancy, so when you say you’ve only got a couple of weeks left it makes me realise how close my cousin is! However, I get to follow two beautiful journeys at once!🥰
good luck to you and your cousin hopes and prayers lots of love

It was so cute and funny!😂❤️
I love you guys and wish you all the best luck to your home birth! I don’t have any discouraging ideas. I think home birth is wonderful! ❤️🌹❤️🌹🔥🔥
I can’t wait to meet the little guy!❤️🌹
Thank you so much for the heart!! 💗
Wishing you a safe delivery and can’t wait to see the little baby boy 🤗
Home birth is 100% safe! My mom had me and my 7 siblings at home, and we’re American! Haven’t had any issues with it.
Good luck Liana!
Thanks
Getting so close good luck hope the birth goes smoothly and well !
You mean the birth? Cuz she is basically done with pregnancy.

Congrats Amber! Wishing all the best for you!
That could be very helpful 😅 thank you!
My birthday is 24th June, the baby and I might share birthdays 😂 Congratulations to you soon to be momma 🎉🥳💐
Congratulations!
I can’t wait to see Babi boy be born!! It’s getting so close and I give all my best wishes!!!💙
Home birth is one of the best things!! U got this ❤️ ignore all the other people, ur healthy and u got 2(!) midwives👌 no worries, we believe in you guys. Can't wait to see bubi 💘
@Lisa Marie I thought liana said 2 midwives??
Kudos to you both for having baby at home!! I would prefer that over the hospital personally. Best wishes for a quick and safe delivery!
Good luck!!

I had a water home birth with my last son and it was amazing. It was definitely worth it and if I could do it again I would xx
My mom did home birth with my little brother and it turned out amazing! After he was born he was perfectly healthy we had three midwives with my mom and they were very well prepared for everything and if anything bad happened they would take her to hospital and it was like a few houses down from where we lived (He was also very adorable✨)
Also don't listen to all the people saying negative thing's about home birth. I heard you were doing water birth and funny enough my mom did that with my little brother too! 😁😁✨✨

Just in case no one has mentioned, gas & air makes you feel a bit sicky at first but try and push past it and that feeling goes away☺️, sending positive vibes your way 😊. Aww have you thought about creating an area where you can deliver out of the pool just in case?

This is so exciting i’m so happy for the both of you. there’s this thing called curtain lights which i definitely recommend if you want really calm and pretty lighting, and they’ll definitely light up the room a lot more then just the strip of fairy light. the room is getting along great i’m so excited for baby boy 🥰

You know, I had 3 C sections, and my 4th was a home birth. I was in labor 6 hours, and pushed for 5 minutes
my mom had a home birth twice and it was perfectly fine both times. goodluck to you both, im so happy for yall!

Also do not listen to what the comments say.
Ive heard so many good things about home births. Love to u 2 and prayers for a safe birth. ❤️
