You gave some great information along with easy to understand directions of how to set up the machine. I just bought one, just to make clothing patches with. I am thrilled at the way it cuts. I am also doing some other paper cuts with it too. This is when I wish I more time in the day to play with it. I'm truly enjoying working with this machine. I see they are bringing out another new one in Oct. I can't wait to see how that one works. I couldn't wait that long for it because I needed the thousands of patches NOW. But if it's all that it says it is, I may sell this one and get the new one. Thanks for the great video.
I just received my new Cameo. Your tutorial was extremely helpful....much better than the accompanying booklet. Thank you so very much for being so detailed.
I just starting out and know nothing about this machine except what a friend has told me a little about. You made this review very easy to follow and understand. Very nice job. Thx. Im sure I will be back with more questions.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this! Just unboxed my cameo today and trouble every step of the way with setting it up. error messages and software issues. Your tutorial was so encouraging. I kept referring back to it and plowing ahead. It's done and I'm excited! Will definitely be watching for more content from you!
Dear Ken: I just purchased and installed my Cameo and only with your tutorial I could install and make my first cut with no problem. (BTW absolutely perfect) thank you very much Greetings from Chile
This was very helpful. You are a terrific teacher and cover all the important issues we need to know. I've only had my Cameo for weeks now, so this is my first video I've watched of yours. I have subscribed to your channel....so I shall binge watch and become a genius!! Thanx again.
Thaaaaaank you for the video I was having some troubles getting the blade down. I thought it was not cutting because the blade was not sharp enough so I chose 5 and almost cut through the mat. :-) I am just happy that it works!!! I have been cutting all the shapes in the library. Super excited!!
Ken thank you for this video. What I am trying to find is I set up my Cameo 2 last night and everything is working great except it isn't cutting. There is a small white piece on the blade that I can't tell if it's to be removed. The white piece with the red arrow is still on but the other is like a cover. I don't think the blade can fit thru that little hole in the cover but before I remove it and ruin something I would like your expertise! Thank you!
Hi Ken: Thanks for this informative video. You are very thorough and well informed. I already have the Cricut Explorer and enjoy using it, but I was thinking of getting the Cameo as well, maybe for Mother's Day. I like that both machines offer for the most part different images. Would you recommend I get the Cameo or should I just be happy with my Explorer?
So, does this only use vector artwork? What is the smallest size font this will cut? Would you recommend this for doing stencils (masks) for sand blasted items like mugs, bottles and glasses?
thanks Ken, i just bought my first silhouette cameo, your walk through was great! i subscribed to your videos, I am looking forward you walking me through my projects Sera
Hi ken, thanks for the info. I just got a brand new Cameo and have it updated & apparently ready to go but I'm having issues. It seems like I need to set it at Textured heavy cardstock and set my blade at 10 just to cut plain copy paper. I can't get it to cut through any cardstock? What is the heaviest weight paper I can cut? Do I need to put another mat under the cutting mat? So far I'm confused and disappointed. What good is this machine if I can't cut cardstock?
I am a person that likes to create invitations and sometimes I feel like I am back in first grade with all the cutting. I have been told to invest into a die cut machine. Problem is I am overwhelmed. I like to use a lot of portraits stuff. So I don't know if I should go with the Silhoutte Cameo or the Cricut Explore. Can you assist a lost overwhelmed girl that is using all this stuff for the first time?
MeechMeech depends on what you are looking for. If you want simple software but amazing cutting machine i would go with the cricut explore. If you want an okay machine and better software I would go with the cameo
thank you so much Ken I Love the walk through of the new silhouette cameo I still don't have the money to purchase one has it change a whole since 2014 again thank you
You didn't mention about the various software available through Silhouette. What exactly is bundled into the base package? Is it the Designer software or is it a less advanced version?
Hello! I just wanted to say thank you for making such an in depth review. I just purchased mine after watching your review, and it'll be my first cutting machine. Thanks for making this review, it helped my decisions quite a bit. (:
I purchased a Portrait but guess many of your tips and info would apply. I would like to know how to set up the file folders for designs. By company? By theme? By holiday? Just wondering since I am new to all this.
I just bought a new Silhouette Cameo and it is scheduled to arrive on Friday. Will I need to update the firmware as soon as I get it, even with it being brand new?
Hi I purchased the silhouette Cameo and I did step by step set up but for some reason it won't let me continue the whole process. So I print by design off my cameo. The set up did not complete so is there a malfunction with the cameo I have?
HI Ken!! I just purchased the 1st version of /silhouette cameo but I'm so lost. Could you please make a full tutorial on how to use and print? Please and thank you
After playing around with it, I found that the firmware was indeed installed, and the knocking stopped. I've cut a couple of images and the sounds are more normal now. Thanks for doing these videos
I just received my silhouette cameo about two weeks ago . Very excited about getting started but very intimidating. Did the upgrade. So I decided to try The vinyl it calls for The cutting tool to be on number 1 . Cut through both papers onto my cutting board then I tried card stock which calls for the cutting tool to be on 3 . Same issue . It seems like it's straining to cut & Pulling the vinyl . Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong ? Or should I call the manufacturing . HELP PLEASE 😹😹
Hi Ken, Great Videos. I had been wanting to get the SC, but hadn't looked to much into it, until now (when I could afford one) which is how I found your videos. As I was surfing through videos (about the SC), I started running across horror stories of multiple problems with the blades giving out, not cutting at all, the matts slipping, things like that. However, when I watched your video comparing the SC to the Cricket Explore, both machines seem to cut with ease. I guess my question is, should I be concerned? I know there's not a product out there that will make everyone happy (all of the time), but I read enough of them that I am starting to wonder. Thanks so much, Judy
Hi there..this is soooooo informative. I'm a bit new at this and did not know what a cameo was, until now. Is this the latest model or has there been more updates since? Is it worth the investment? Just subbied. Thank you again Ken
hi Ken, thanks for the videos, they are great, I just got my new silhouette cameo, hope I love it, I'm a newbie at all this, I jut wanted to make stencils. I found I had to do the software update to get all 100 free downloads. When I did the firmware, I went to unzip it gave me a quick peek at the firmware software, then disappeared. It will not open. I will contact support today. I was making my own stencils with a woodburner (overheated my eye) & a role of clear plastic shelving paper. If you think about felt, it would be the same accept plastic, do you think the silhouette will cut that? Thanks again Ken.
Hi Ken, I took the leap and decided on the cameo. My craft is greeting cards, and after watching all your reviews (and a few others), and talking with some friends, I thought the SC was best for me. That being said, I'm having a hard time finding tutorials keyword here) "from" start and on. There are several opening and installing, but all the other videos seem to be hit and miss on "specific how tos". What I was hoping for was something that explains the tools and setting (in depth). Is there a site out there like that? I don't mind paying for classes as long as it's worth it. I just need some recommendations on some good ones.
Hello, I really like your videos and the way you explain things!! I'm just purchased my silhouette cameo and I was wandering if you could please make a video on how to make wood bubbles for photo booth props and word signs & photo booth props.
Hi, I currently have a portrait and have upgraded to the new Cameo. Do I have to install the new software or will the old software work and will I lose any images that I've created in my library?
I'm looking at the Silhouette Cameo and one of the questions I have is how long of a vinyl will it cut out on in other words it may do what I think 13 inches wide but how long can I have a piece in there to cut
It doesn't come with the upgraded Designers Edition..you have to pay separately. You can get the upgrade on Amazon for 1/2 the price of what's on Silhouette's website. Hope that helps!
Hi Ken, I currently have the Portrait, but I am thinking of purchasing this new Cameo. Is it possible to run both machines on the same computer? I still want to keep my Portrait, but sometimes wantvto do bigger projects with the Cameo.
Sue M Whoo, Whoo, thanks! My new cameo is winging it's way to me as I.... type....? Anyway it's ordered and shipped me to me! You always have the answers for me, thanks so much!
Its my first cameo and my computer will not go through with the installation. Do you know why that could be? I have Windows XP. I turned my firewall off and that didn't work.
I am brand new to the Cameo, 2014 version. I have watched this video and it is very helpful but when I attempt to update the firmware, I get an error message. I am using Windows 8.1 with 64 bit. I don't know what I am doing wrong or what else I need to do to make it work. Can you offer any assistance please?
Hi Ken :) very good review on the new Silhouette Cameo.....I thought it sounded quieter when if first started cutting, but it looked as though it was struggling to cut, just the impression it gave me, and then when you unloaded the mat.....eek!!! there was that horrible noisey clunking noise again....that is a real turn off for me....some of the new things added are ...er...ok....but nothing really that outstanding well not for me anyway....LCD screens are a nightmare if your eyesight isnt that good...so not too ecstatic about them adding that.....I think the only reason I would buy this new machine is if I couldn't buy the cricut explore....and that is my honest opinion ..... always enjoy your reviews tutorials etc....always so clear to understand and follow so keep up the great work...and thank you for sharing this and for all the wonderful tutorials you have so kindly shared with me and so many others ...appreciate you taking time out ....Thank you :) not very keen on the silhouette software either...tracing mainly....just thought I would mention it....sorry going off topic.... why didnt they just make a new model...not an upgrade of it?..... well this is only my personal opinion of course :) Happy crafting...have a great day :) Magz :)
I'm not sure why, but I wasn't able to do everything. I tried to register and wasn't able to finish registration. This is my first time using cameo and I only got the 50 free downloads. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. For whatever reason my computer won't allow me to do the firmware update. Lets see if I can figure this stuff out. Thank you for your video though.
Today, I bought my FIRST ever Silhouette. Your instructions are excellent !!! However, I'm a little confused. With this being my first S machine, do I need to update the Firmware ??? Plus, I just subscribed to your YT channel. THANKS !!!
How do I get my svg's on a hard drive to plug into my usb port. I have tons of svg but cant figure out how to get them on a usb drive just in case I don't have my computer.
Ken, i followed your directions to install my new cameo. BTW your video's are very informative. All went well until I tried to install the new firmware. The unit got to the green screen and froze up. It locked up my mac as well.. I used force quit to stop the process and now my cameo will not turn on. It is getting power as the cutter moves about half an inch back and forth and then does nothing. I tried to re install the firmware but I can't get the unit to come on. What should I do now? I'm trying to contact Silhouette America but so far no luck. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Have you heard if silhouette is going to be coming out with a newer model? I don't want to get a cameo if they are going to be releasing a new model some time soon.
Thank you for the helpful video. A question I have is do I have to install the CD? I currently don't have a CD drive on my Mac, but I did install Silhouette Studio v3.4.427ss.
Hi Ken I have recently purchased SC and I find that even though I load the mat in a straight position, the mat gets disorineted during the cutting process ( it goes in all directions/gets tilted etc) and then the design is not cut properly. I am a new user to cameo, not sure what is wrong?
Pallavi More this happened to me as well and it was so frustrating!! i moved the right roller in and it stopped doing that tho, may want to give that a shot. i noticed when i use the mat as well it sometimes does that so i really never use the mat when i am used HTV and vinyl.

I'm a graphic designer, I'm familiar with Adobe Illustrator. Can I import my own original silhouettes or templates? Also, what are the media limitations on this machine? Doesn't look too powerful. Paper thickness, textured paper ect..?
Hi Ken I have the cameo 2 which I love but barely got to use due to having some health issues over the year so it's pretty much brand new. Now I see a third one came out and im feeling bummed out because I get the impression that there are more new useful functions introduced in the third one than the differences between the first two. Plus I barely got to use mine. I'm a tech junkie too so I try to get the latest model of things etc. Would you recommend selling/ trading in my cameo 2 and getting the cameo 3 or are the new features really not that dramatic to warrant going through all that? Thank you, Wanda

Been watching this video you had take me by the hand step by step, thanks for that. but when we came to the part of about upgrading my firmware and now im freaking out :( is taking for EVER!!!! is this normal? it said about 10 min its been now like 30. TIA Ken
Hi Ken, I have just bought a Cameo and I was wondering if the blade should be exposed at position 0. The guy at the store did some tests with thermal vinyl and he cut it at position 0, is this right? I want to know due your experience. Thank you.
hey Ken, I was wondering if you could help me out. I just bought my first cameo, and only 50 of the free images downloaded onto my account. I was wondering if there's something else I'm supposed to do to get the other 50?
I am having the same problem, I think I figured it out. You probably need to update the software, although it was telling me no update was available through the software, when i went to the website I saw that there is a more up to date version. Once its updated then all the images showed up.
Nixies thier is not much to compare. i did an original video and since silhouette cameo did not upgrade any of the cutting capabilities of the new silhouette cameo the cuts have not changed
I read through the comments before adding mine. I did seem some quieter than you earlier cameo/explore comp. But if you honestly believe the Explore cuts better, why are we here. We want the best die CUTTER. My brain still can't get clear the paying subscription and not owning files. I can PM you if you could clarify/satisfy my confusion on that issue. I am so ready to make the move to cover my E2. Thx Ken. Lynda in Utah/Provo Craft land lol {P.S. I COMMEND YOU ON YOUR CLARITY OF SPEECH} Honestly, such an uncommon practice in such a necessary venue.

I am watching your you tube video and the options on the screen say - Browse Usb, Repeat Job, unload.....mine is saying load cut mat, load media, unload...any ideas how I change this?
Mine said the same thing and that was AFTER my cutting job was done. Before starting the project mine said the same thing as yours with load mat, load media.....
I've just bought one to make my own stencils and now that I saw your video I can't wait to get my hands on it. I have really great expectations and I hope I didn't threw away 300 GBP on just another crappy product...
Kens Kreations Honestly, it's pretty straightforward and it's highly improbable to brake it in pieces. It's pretty simple really and that it is where is strength comes from but also its...well... flaw. But for the money you pay it is absolutely perfect. It does things other machines do but for a much higher buck. Speaking about its flaws, I have some minor complaints, one of them being the fact that in its settings you gotta figure out exactly what kind of materials the producer had in mind when he offered his list of presets to chose from. For instance, while trying to cut a stencil out of a transparent sheet I have accidentally cut through my sticky sheet below thinking that the pressure is too low for the first option so I've opted for the second one which had a greater pressure in its settings. Well, it's kinda' normal since it's such a simple machine. Another upsetting thing is that it doesn't remember your settings that you've opted for just a minute ago so once you've cut your first stencil you gotta start again and insert your personal preferences and naturally is a little frustrating if you're in a hurry. Otherwise it's a great machine. If you want to cut leather (I've tried it to cut a bad ass Triumph logo for my bike seat and it worked beautifully), go for a thicker sort and less flaky (lamb skin is a nightmare) and keep in mind that your sticky sheet will be compromised anyways so you better have a spare one prepared for other materials. Of course you can wash it with hot water and mild soap but gradually it will loose its adhesive layer. You can improvise a lot with this machine and it will take it like a champ. My advices are: take short steps when trying to cut a material for the first time, pay attention to your settings and write down the one that works like a charm (depth, pressure etc), try all sorts of materials like fabric, leather, transparent films etc and figure out which is more suitable and which isn't and always keep in mind that the machine resets itself after each finished job. If you follow my advices the limit will be your own creativity. Have fun with it
Hi Ken!! I just received my first ever Cameo today and your video has been a great help! I'm following it step by step but I came across a great disappointment when my Cameo only downloaded 50 free images and not 100. I have never owned a cameo or any other cutting machine and I was hoping that you might be able to help me with this :) Thanks again for all of your videos they are very informative!
Ari Autumn Yes I can!! you can either call Silhouette Cameo or you can go to your preference option (gear in the right lower corner) and under preferences it states "restore my original 50 images"
Kens Kreations Hi Ken! I finally received my 100 free images!! After e-mailing Silhouette they referred me to this link: www.silhouetteamerica.com/faq/solution/initial-50-images-missing-from-library First I upgraded to the latest version of the software and then followed the steps in the link. I hope this information can help someone out in the future! Thanks again for everything!!!
okay just recieved mines yesterday watch your video major help first tried on card stock AWSOME! now rying the vinyl rolls mines came with but didnt go well it cut perfect but got confused on how to transfer too the shirt or is this the incorrect type vinyl ?
Kens Kreations last cycle through colors but mine is red, instructions say should be dark blue. so i unplug hold the power button then plug it again while holding the power button, but now only blank blue color.
Hi Ken, I just got my new Cameo and have been following your video. 2 points. I tried to install the upgraded firmware and the screen on my Mac froze when the white screen came up. I realized later that I hadn't logged into my account and tried it again after logging in, but never got the white screen where you hold the button and turn off power. How do I know if it downloaded it and if not how do I do it? Second I tried cutting out something before this and there was a loud knocking sound during part of the cut but it did a clean cut. The sound worries me
Donna Payton The cameo is a very loud machine...VERY...also if you go to your screen on your cameo it should have an info button that allows you to do the firmware update.

Hi Ken. I would like to know if with Silhouette Cameo we can cut quilling strips or strips for paper beads? Thank you.

Linda Berge You will have to instal the new software to get the new designs.
I know this is older- but it was very helpful- tysm!
will they continue to update the orignal cameo? Most of the time when something new comes the original doesn't receive any knew updates
Hello! I was just gifted a used Silhouette Cameo 2014 so I sure appreciate this!
I'm looking at the Silhouette Cameo and one of the questions I have is how long of a vinyl will it cut out on in other words it may do what I think 13 inches wide but how long can I have a piece in there to cut
Hi Ken, thinking of buying one of these but wanted to know does it come with the upgraded design edition studio or have you to purchase this separate
Valerie Kearney no it is the same software.
Sue M yup sure can. No issues at all there
Sue M Whoo, Whoo, thanks! My new cameo is winging it's way to me as I.... type....? Anyway it's ordered and shipped me to me! You always have the answers for me, thanks so much!
Hi Ken, I just purchased the Cameo. I only received 51 free images though. How do get the other 49? This is my first Cameo.
Dawn Rodriguez contact customer service. it is a known issue
Kens Kreations or put your mind to work and create your own designs like the people who make a living do.
Its my first cameo and my computer will not go through with the installation. Do you know why that could be? I have Windows XP. I turned my firewall off and that didn't work.
Frederica Hunt Not sure. Have you called customer service?
Great video! got a black friday amazon deal and this helped me get it unboxed.
+Bossy Terriers awesome!
Taking things out of a box can be extremely difficult without a how-to video.
Vicki Heckman i would call silhouette america as I know they stated a few people with windows were having problems.
Hi Ken :) very good review on the new Silhouette Cameo.....I thought it sounded quieter when if first started cutting, but it looked as though it was struggling to cut, just the impression it gave me, and then when you unloaded the mat.....eek!!! there was that horrible noisey clunking noise again....that is a real turn off for me....some of the new things added are ...er...ok....but nothing really that outstanding well not for me anyway....LCD screens are a nightmare if your eyesight isnt that good...so not too ecstatic about them adding that.....I think the only reason I would buy this new machine is if I couldn't buy the cricut explore....and that is my honest opinion .....
always enjoy your reviews tutorials etc....always so clear to understand and follow so keep up the great work...and thank you for sharing this and for all the wonderful tutorials you have so kindly shared with me and so many others ...appreciate you taking time out ....Thank you :)
not very keen on the silhouette software either...tracing mainly....just thought I would mention it....sorry going off topic....
why didnt they just make a new model...not an upgrade of it?.....
well this is only my personal opinion of course :)
Happy crafting...have a great day :)
Magz :)
magggie22 very good points
Fab video thanks. Is the software internet based like the Cricut Expression?
+S Green no it is very different. much different.
+Kens Kreations - Would it be a good addition to my home based business for cutting vinyl? Thanks
Just order one I will be using it for fabric cutting and quilting.
+Gale Vernon YAHOO
I'm not sure why, but I wasn't able to do everything. I tried to register and wasn't able to finish registration. This is my first time using cameo and I only got the 50 free downloads. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. For whatever reason my computer won't allow me to do the firmware update. Lets see if I can figure this stuff out. Thank you for your video though.
Renisha Ensley call customer service. many people had these issues
Thank you! . Will do
I got all downloads, I had to do the update, then plug into computer, then all 100 free downloads appeared. I was not able to do the firmware update.
Today, I bought my FIRST ever Silhouette. Your instructions are excellent !!! However, I'm a little confused. With this being my first S machine, do I need to update the Firmware ??? Plus, I just subscribed to your YT channel. THANKS !!!
margaret schuster yes you need to update firmeware!
Kens Kreations THANKS !!! for your quick response. Now, I can get my S in working mode.
+elaine heis unplug the machine for at least 5 minutes. Remove the software on your mac and restart
We tried the software disc in 2 different computers and in both it failed to even register a disc was put in.
thanks for he advice but I decided to go with the silhouette cameo because its overall cheaper to get the designs and I also got the new version
Nixies enjoy your purchase it is a great machine and you will love it!~
hi I just got cameo 2, do I need to do firmware update? your video is very helpful. I'm overwhelmed by the machine.
Yes you will need to do the firmware update
Hi Ken, I just got my Cameo with the big LCD. Question, do I really need to update my firmware? Thanks in advance!
Yes you do sadly
Have you heard if silhouette is going to be coming out with a newer model? I don't want to get a cameo if they are going to be releasing a new model some time soon.
+Angie Hansen I have not hear any rumors!
Hi Ken, I have done everything you said but my new silhouette cameo still not cutting. I dont know what do ??????
Andreza Castro wat is it doing?
Thank you for the helpful video. A question I have is do I have to install the CD? I currently don't have a CD drive on my Mac, but I did install Silhouette Studio v3.4.427ss.
you should never use the included CD if you can avoid it. always download the software. that goes for any product.
Hi Ken I have recently purchased SC and I find that even though I load the mat in a straight position, the mat gets disorineted during the cutting process ( it goes in all directions/gets tilted etc) and then the design is not cut properly. I am a new user to cameo, not sure what is wrong?
Pallavi More sounds like a gear issue. call the company and get a new one
Pallavi More this happened to me as well and it was so frustrating!! i moved the right roller in and it stopped doing that tho, may want to give that a shot. i noticed when i use the mat as well it sometimes does that so i really never use the mat when i am used HTV and vinyl.
Hi Ken, could you tell me if it's possible to import pictures or box templates from the internet into the cameo's software to cut out?
+varvara tsilia as long as you have the designer edition of the software
You make it look so easy. I just ordered my first machine. I'm already terrified of it. I don,t know how to use it.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Do u recommend the cricut, scan n cut or cameo! It’s my first machine.
I'm a graphic designer, I'm familiar with Adobe Illustrator. Can I import my own original silhouettes or templates? Also, what are the media limitations on this machine? Doesn't look too powerful. Paper thickness, textured paper ect..?
Can it print thin vinyl plastics or similar materials?
Redbird This machine is more for crafter use. I would look at the silver bullet for powerful machine.
The biggest different it the two heads.

+Milagros Rodriguez no it should not take this long
Called Silhouette costumer service and they helped me with the problem Ken, thanks for the response. Love your Channel !!
Hi Ken, I have just bought a Cameo and I was wondering if the blade should be exposed at position 0. The guy at the store did some tests with thermal vinyl and he cut it at position 0, is this right? I want to know due your experience. Thank you.
+Mauricio Castellanos
Yes and Yes however i usually use blade setting 2
+Kens Kreations thank you!
Mauricio Castellanos h
Would you be getting the cameo silhouette 3
I am currently in the process of editing this review! :)
Hey there I just bought my first silhouette cameo and it's super loud, like it makes a grinding sound when I turn it on.... Is that normal?
Lilmisslondon83 it should sound like it is singing to you...but NOT grinding
so should I buy the cricut or sihloutte cameo?
Nixies I feel the cricut explore has out cut the silhouette cameo
Kens Kreations the only thing is, don't you have to buy all the disks?
hey Ken,
I was wondering if you could help me out.
Once its updated then all the images showed up.
jhayteeee yes you have to contact silhouette customer service or update your software by going to their site.
I am a faithful subscriber!!! Thank you so much for your video's.
hi.....can i use this machine to cut self adhesive paper for half punch?
Yes
Canyou do a cricut explore vs. the new silhouette cameo?
I COMMEND YOU ON YOUR CLARITY OF SPEECH} Honestly, such an uncommon practice in such a necessary venue.
can you use any computer with this like a laptop or does it have to be a desk top
ANY!!!!
Does the silhouette cameo allow you to make your own designs?
Broadcasting Sunny sure does!
Kens Kreations Out of curiosity does the cricut also allow your own design?
hi i have a question i just ordered one from amazon but i never i reliaze if i can use this machine using toshiba laptop computer?

My laptop isn't the best Just getting into graphics. Will this software work

kidsinvitations I would call customer service
Mine said the same thing and that was AFTER my cutting job was done. Before starting the project mine said the same thing as yours with load mat, load media.....
Hi, I have a problem, my mac don't have CD space, Do you know how can I install the driver?
+Katia del cid an external driver is your only option
You can download it straight from the website!
Ken thank you so much for this video. xxx
You bet
Great explanation, very easy this video help me a lot. Thank you.
BEYOND HELPFUL! THANKS SOSOSOOS MUCH!
Thanks for watching
I've just bought one to make my own stencils and now that I saw your video I can't wait to get my hands on it. I have really great expectations and I hope I didn't threw away 300 GBP on just another crappy product...
GorillaProduction38 Great product!
+GorillaProduction38 I'm thinking of buying this myself, what can you tell me about your purchase? How is it treating you
Kens Kreations Honestly, it's pretty straightforward and it's highly improbable to brake it in pieces.
Have fun with it
would this be good for cutting out pronted vinyl stickers?
yes. This machine does very well with vinyl
IT IS DESIGNED TO CUT VINYL
Chet Gravatt I just wanted to know if I'd be able to cut out the prints precisely with this machine

After e-mailing Silhouette they referred me to this link:
www.silhouetteamerica.com/faq/solution/initial-50-images-missing-from-library
First I upgraded to the latest version of the software and then followed the steps in the link.
I hope this information can help someone out in the future! Thanks again for everything!!!
Ari Autumn Thanks for the site. I will update my video!!!
okay just recieved mines yesterday watch your video major help first tried on card stock AWSOME! now rying the vinyl rolls mines came with but didnt go well it cut perfect but got confused on how to transfer too the shirt or is this the incorrect type vinyl ?
you need iron on or heat transfer vinyl for that
+Kens Kreations I have it now I can't figure out the correct blade tension
hi, this is my first cameo update my firmware however instruction say should be dark blue but mine is red. what should i do? please help
Judy Gabriel It should cycle through colors.
Kens Kreations last cycle through colors but mine is red, instructions say should be dark blue. so i unplug hold the power button then plug it again while holding the power button, but now only blank blue color.
thanks for that walk through. I needed that step by step information.
sweet
I have been thinking about this machine for crops. Thanks for the info :)
Donna Payton Sorry not allows you to do the firware tells you what firmware you are running
Can you use your own designs?
+Matt Man sure can
