The Reason Why Commander Wants You To Use Cliff Towers To Kill Quick Enemy's is because cliff tower lock on to the enemy and they have lots of range and combine that with dj and a regular max level ranger can shoot the entire map on dead ahead
@@YesYez what are you talking about? I played tds since 2019 and crook boss "always" had a limit of 4 not 3, I remember they never make crook boss placement limit more than 4 before
So the reason why commander says use cliff towers to counter fast enemies is because Ground troops do not have higher range then! Cliff. Plus they do more damage per shot including ranger. But ranger is ineffective to shadow boss or hidden boss. So using sniper spam is the best way to counter hidden or shadow. But fast bosses are also dangerous to rangers aswell. As they can go to the base fast then the cliffs won't have much time to terminate the enemy.
Alright since you said the level 4 ranger makes no sense at all but it actually make sense. In my own opinion, he uses money to upgrade his railgun to make it deal more damage and faster to reload and he spent some coins for clothing
