I don't think any are from the lake, if there is it would be a fairly small number. The river itself has received fingerling stocking in the past and gets pretty strong recruitment each year from the tributaries
Awesome session mate! I'm wondering how you go about launching and retrieving the kayaks? Seemed to be a fair bit of flow in some sections. Do you pedal back upstream or use two cars?
Thanks mate! This trip we used two cars and drifted between them but you can return to the one car at some levels. I prefer going up first when I do this so I don't go down something I can't get back up
I love those little brownies. Caught my first one at Gilmore bridge last year on a Daiwa double clutch Spotted Dog,
Nice mate! My first fish on a lure was out of the Goulburn near breakaway Bridge. Very special river
What a session, awesome
Thanks mate, well exceeded any expectations we had for the day
Geez, great video mate. I've gotta get myself up there quick smart.
Enjoy your footage thanks for sharing, do you think many of these fish are released from Eildon lake as the water's released?

What area do you perfer to launch the kayak from on the Goulburn with the access?
I've only done it twice so don't really have any preferences yet. There's heaps of ramps on it not far from eildon
What stretch of the river is that? Nice video mate

Havent seen too many trout get it in head first the way that one did!
Dark dirty water try black lures. Nothing silhouettes better then black
