There is a pool of sealant in the tire. The air pressure in the tire forces the sealant out of the hole, the sealant dries, and you have a plug. If the puncture is at the top then as the tire spins the sealant will fill the gap as the tire comes around. It's pretty cool.
I suspect that this is using the Kenda self-healing tube inside of that Kenda tire.I wouldn't expect it could take that much damage and seal that fast but then puncturing it where all the sealant is would likely have that effect.If you riding though it would be normal to hear the hiss at least for one revolution and if you stop and pull a nail out be ready to rotate the tire because the sealant will pool in the bottom of the tire so rotating will get the hole to the sealant so it can seal.Highly recommend this and Slime for bike tires but carry an air pump and a spare tube just in case you get a hole larger then the sealant can handle I love this stuff I only use it for my rear tire easier on my budget and because I have a motor on my bike and the rear tire is a fair amount of work to get on and off when sitting on the side of the road the fornt is a breeze.

When the tire is punctured, the inner membrane develops a hole, the liquid inside is sprayed out of the hole and in the process reacts with the rubber in the tire, chemically melting and bonding the hole. .. at least that's how I would do it.

No man don't get me wrong. The Electric motor has been around for quite a long time! I doubt everybody knew how to build one back then when the first one was made. And i don't see a reason to buy an electric motor to be honest. The product up there is intriguing, and as long as it's interesting more people will buy it, rather than make one themselves.
