Fwiw, there are some analyses out there from professional dancers/experts about Lee Know's skills, and they're really interesting and informative. We all know Hyunjin is a master at performing, an element of which is his dancing; Lee Know's mastery is in technique/technical perfection. Hyunjin can sell a move that's not energy efficient or technically perfect and make it look gorgeous, while Lee Know will quietly do that move to textbook perfection in a way that can be maintained and repeated for ten hours straight. Neither's a better side, just different focuses and skill sets. Hyunjin has been a compelling performer almost since the beginning and has put in a ton of work to greatly improve his dance skills to enhance his performance level. Otoh, Lee Know came into things as the most technically perfect dancer with the best underlying set of dance skills, and while he put an enormous amount of effort into developing his rap and vocal skills so they'd be what SKZ needs, he's openly spoken about putting his dance attention toward blending into the overall picture of SKZ and improving their group appearance rather than focusing on highlighting his individual performances. Like Chan is the overall leader and tends to step back and work in the background to boost the whole group, Lee Know does the same as the dance leader -- the leaders' focuses are different than the other members'. So we tend to see the other ones out there shining front and center, while the leader and dance leader are standing behind them and pushing them forward, despite having as much talent and skill as the ones they're boosting.

Not saying the others didn’t kill it because they absolutely did, but professional dancers and idol dancers just have different focuses. If you watch any clip where he’s teaching a choreography, you’ll see he focuses heavily on muscle awareness for maximum energy efficiency and connecting movements properly (a good example is the Kingdom clip where he’s teaching Felix and In for Wolfgang). Hyunjin is a perfect center because he knows how to make his movements stand out, but Lee Know has almost perfect technique and should be included when discussing best kpop dancers imo 🤷♀️

I really loved this performance! Ive been watching it a lot after it aired, I especially like the double high note Lee Know did with Astro's Moonbin. Also, thought I'd tell you in case you're looking for more skz stuff to react to but Stray Kids are bringing back their 2 kids room videos tomorrow (two kids room is exactly how it sounds where two members just talk and share stories in a room together). They'll be releasing them weekly I believe and so maybe if you have time you can react to those from time to time, or at least to the ones youre interested in! I disagree with your comment that there wasn’t a lot of camera on him- there absolutely was, in fact I would say he got more than most and he was center a lot- he was absolutely giving off main vocal/main dancer/visual energy!!! He is our dance king, shining star and legitimate vocalracha with solos and duets to his name!
