Apparently the American Dream is about winning millions of dollars in casino's.. lol. That's what this game is about. It's a bit unique in the fact that the game is split up in different areas each with their own casino and random events. You might randomly encounter somebody who wants to gamble you but you might also get mugged. The game allows you to find a gun so you can't get mugged anymore, but if you encounter police then they'll take the gun from you.. so I decided not to bother with all that. Whilst the game might look complicated at first, it's really nothing but visiting the casino in every area and playing the slot machines until you've made enough money to go to the next area where you're able to play against even higher stakes. I honestly can't imagine how long and tedious this game would be if it wasn't for save states, but I don't want to find out. What's most important is to find the VIP card in the beginning as it allows you to access the VIP rooms in some casino's. I made the mistake to not visit the VIP room in The Bronx so I put myself up with tokens worth $250 rather than tokens worth $500 I could've had in the VIP room. Since this video is obviously TAS'd, I rigged the slot machines quite heavily to make sure I win something most of the time and the expensive tokens therefore help me reach my goal faster. Fortunately I didn't miss the VIP room in Manhattan because I was able to play with $5000 tokens there instead of $500 in the non-VIP.. that's x10 faster!
Interesting they all happened in New York/New Jersey. They probably forgot most US gambling is Vegas :) But Pachio had nerve, and hit Jackpot after Jackpot to make his American Dream come true :)
