In theory yes ! In practice difficult to say. You are essentially buying almost a straddle( In case of bank nifty the marginal strike difference is negligible because of its high index value) and risking the decay, if the market do not move enough. Yes, in extreme volatile situations it would give you money,if it moves either way. In reality there is no perfect hedge, otherwise everyone would have been doing it for ages !
bhai usney Directional hedge batayaa hai . Assumption : We have predicted the direction of Market either Bullish or Bearish based on some strategy (assuming 60% hit ratio). Uskey hisab se Directional Hedging can be considered good way of working . Biggest thing is you have predicted the market in advance and atleast 60% of time market will move as per your prediction.
Sir atm for CE 39900 which is strike price you told it and itm is 39800 and otm is 40000 it’s completely fine sir but for PE atm is 40000 how sir 🤔? Could you please explain it sir
