Thank you so much..!! I was struggling on a dynamic Max setting… tried many other articles..!! But this video is just to the point..! Worked like a charm..!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Cheers..!! Subscribed..!!✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Thank you! I was so close to ordering a low seat but with this setting change it's now perfect with the standard seat - I just wish the BMW dealer would have been this helpful!
You only gave us half the information. Why does the suspension lift? Does it stay at this height? Does each riding mode now lower and lift based off this max lift. I'm guessing this is like a calibration mode to set ride hieght and possibly sag.
That’s correct but it lifts for additional weight as well as the stiffness for preload and rebound. These 2 different settings do make the riding difference
Hey Shahnawaz, big fan of of your off-road training! I recently purchased an 850 GSA. I believe you had the opportunity to ride that during the GS training you did with the team in Zanskar. In lower gears, the front suspension seems to be a little too bouncy for my liking. Infact because of this I feel slightly off balanced as the bike has a big tank. I’ve tried tweaking with the suspension control but not too much seems to work. Any suggestions? Also any plans of hosting a GS training in and around Pune anytime soon? Thanks
Hi Sumit. Thanks for your comment. Yeah. The best way for any long travel suspension motorcycle is to keep the suspension loaded and keep throttle and brakes consistent. I do teach all of this in my trainings. Unfortunately I’m right now in Vancouver. Would be back in may/June.
Dynamic for rebound. It will adjust according to the terrain. Auto preload will adjust the stiffness of suspension based on the weight on the rear seat

Does only the rear suspension rise or front also rises ?
Only the rear.
Ok, but what buttons are you pushing to change to max load?
you press the suspension button once to activate and then hold for 3 seconds to change.
What is the model year of the bike
2020 model
Which buttons did you press to get to Max?
Press the suspension button once to activate and then again press and hold for 3 seconds.
