You channel is like a how to of Harvey Bay. It’s going to make it a lot easier to work it all out when we get there

Great video! Would love to see a video on the weather patterns / precautions / ideal routes / things to be cautious of or avoid etc when navigating the hervey bay waterways if you'd be interested in doing one?

Sounds like a great challenge mate, I might add it to the list for videos this year. Cheers

Hey mate! Great video on exploring Fraser. Whats the maximum wind speed from the south through to east that you would recommend for safe boating up to the creek? Looking at heading up to Fraser in a 4.6m boat with a 70hp.
    Cheers

Cheers mate. The main area of concern is from the harbour to moon point. Crossing the deep water channels in anything over 15 knots is very uncomfortable. Once across however you can hug the island and are fairly protected all the way.

How many km of travel would you cover in a full days fishing for Tuna and marlin from Urangan to Rooney’s point?
I have a 150 Yamaha four stroke on a 6.5 Alu hull with 200lts of fuel.
I’m trying to work out what I need to take. Cheers

Hard to guess km's mate, so many factors to consider. Perhaps use a per hour burn rate. In a single day i will count on using an entire tank and carry an extra third of a tank as backup. But very hard to offer advise when i dont know your boat and motor etc.

Fish That Snag - Fishing Boating Camping
I can cover about 160km using 110lts ie. Travelling 50km offshore then trolling all day then returning another 50km.
When you go out for a full day marlin Fishing how many km would you cover during the day?
If you travel 200km per day then this would help me gauge fuel.
      Love your videos
      Cheers

@@senator62 Roonies would be a 70km trip, so 140kms up and back. Then trolling between lighthouse to Wathumba is about 30kms double that for running around etc which is probably over doing it slightly. So yeah work on 200kms a day as a safe figure. I usually do about 175kms.

Mate you would have a much bigger subs if you did better videos. Your videos are like making for your extended family.... You have ALL the resources to make a HUGE impact on YT - making videos of all of the small towns opposite Kgari - like Poona, Tin Can etc. Show all of the internal lakes. Show us the mud crabbing etc in the mangroves....show us the excellent fishing at "each" campsite on the West Side etc, etc...... Show us how to catch bloodworms on the East Side. Show us the reefs in the Bay. Show us The Reef and Lady M etc. You have EVERYTHING at your reach........
