Good video mate, you say don't fish down the wall, but I caught my second PB bass just down the wall on a squid head. Ok it was a few years ago, but I wouldn't ignore fishing straight down, especially night tides.
Good point. I've always dropped a bait down walls over the years squid and macky heads and live baits but I was told by more than one person that it's not productive at this venue. Not sure if it's the silt build up or that the water doesn't flow as well tight inside here? Think your right best not rule it out. I think the squid operate down the wall by the sound of it. Thanks for your input Sussx seagull.
Autumn will see bigger bass and summer species staying around. Winter can be tough but recent codling catches give optimism. For up to date info give the tackle box a ring
I actually used fishbrain a few years ago and found it difficult to separate the fresh water from the sea fishing, have they updated now to be more user friendly? Living in Bristol it’s a bit of a slog but I’ve always wanted to fish from the pier, I may give it a go one day soon. Great video, thank you for taking the time.
Dry bag with rucksack arms that takes the rods and all the gear. Weights in a carrier bag tucked right down in the bag. Rods poke out the top to clatter in to any overhanging signs! Drop net in a tent bag hanging on the handle bars. Bait sits on top part of the bag Very pro!

Best two spots both on the long arm, right at the end live prawns on the edge of the rocks and on the bend casting to the 2nd drop off
Great tips thanks. I need to get back there with the prawns - I prefer the end as less people appreciate your input
Having no luck recently at Brighton!
Looks like a comfortable spot to fish...
Whats the winter and autumn fishing like there please

Can you recommend me a fishing rod for brighton marina between £20-50 please
Yes but what sort of fishing are you doing. Will it be mackerel, float fishing, or off the bottom for plaice etc
