this deck is fire dude. Currently running sheoldred mono black draw wheel and im really interested in Nekusar so I have access to counter spells. Not to mention the shit tons of additional draw 7 card effects. I had no idea there were so many, im a relatively new EDH player this would be my second deck
Heck yeah!!! Make a Nekusar deck and run Sheoldred in the 99. You won't regret it. First two decks are wheel decks your friends must love you *cough cough* haha jk btw funny enough my friends love playing against the chaos that is wheeling.
IMHO, wheel of misfortune is not good enough. Too many conditions that need to be met to do anything to your opponents. Every card in this deck should be a must do "x" thing. Aside from that, i bet this deck is NASTY to play against 😅 loves it!
@@nelsikegaming I think wheel of misfortune could have been decent if it was worded better. It seems like 2/4 players basically get off Scott free while high/low guesses pay the price. I love seeing how everyone plays Nekusar their own way. It's astonishing how many cards work well with him. I had to cut like 30 cards from my deck haha and then I see you have some other ones that also work well that I never even considered. I have to go buy more 🤣
Took it out because it was too expensive (cmc) for this build. It almost never worked out as people late game would target me and not play spells until they killed me or removed it.
I really like your deck man, it looks fun. I have a Nekusar, too, but I'm still making some adjustments. Have you considered Archmage Ascension or the latest Chandra?
How do you find the response to dream halls when it hits the field? Would you class it as cedh or casual amd do you usually go off when it does resolve?
Hi Daniel! I don't find it CEDH because it costs 5 mana + everyone else takes advantage of it. If anything, in CEDH it's worse because people will be able to cast their counterspells and removal for free (well kinda). Also, if you're up against a graveyard deck? You're giving them double advantage as they're discarding what they want to. I removed it from the deck for those reasons.
It is a nice build. Narset's reversal will only give you 1 wheel. If you choose to copy your own wheel, Narset's reversal returns it to your hand and thus removes it from the stack so the original will not resolve. Unfortunately that would wheel away the original wheel spell. You would need another copy spell on top of Narset's reversal to get 2 wheels....if you copy the original wheel.
@@nelsikegaming You're welcome. Glad I could help. My friends and I are all judges.....so if you have questions about stuff during a build, feel free to ask and we'll help with any rulings or whatever you need.

Hell of a nek deck. Love those duals...!
Very cool spin on Nekuzar. :)
Kinda surprised no Forced Fruition though.

Thank you!! I bought both but have yet to add them and try them out

Oh that's right! Any replacement suggestions?
@@nelsikegaming Reverberate is an option if you're looking to replace with same cmc. There is Reiterate for 3 cmc plus buyback.
@@nelsikegaming Twinferno and Lithoform Engine are also viable options.
@@archangelgaming8800 Thank you so much these are all amazing and in my cart now!

Wedding ring may be a good addition to this
It would be but it's a white card
You’re ring. Darn!
Win rate?
Largely depends on the play group but I will say this; for some reason my play group enjoys playing against it.
Why no soul ring?
@@UlmOst92 brother you are a life saver! It was not intentional! Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I forgot to add Sol Ring 😂

What do you remove instead?

@@UlmOst92 I think I'll remove a wheel of fate because lately it's gone off at the wrong times 😂
