Me too. I think it’s because we know what were getting from Håland. He has already Bern in the cl stage and proverd himself. Alvarez is not yet proven in europe hence why we get more excited by this transfer. But i think he will be world class for us. We just need to give him time.

Even the way he play he can score more than Nunez and Haaland in EPL he is a pure finisher I don't want to hide my feeling.
To be honest, I am not impressed by the way Haaland plays, yes he has very impressive numbers, but at a technical level he is not very good.
He seems somewhat clumsy to me.
I think he is just at the right place at the right time to finish plays and he makes good use of his large build.
We'll see how he plays outside of the German league.
Alvarez is more complete as a player, with better technique, ball control, vision, an overall skill.

@@aleaysine I didn't say Álvarez was better/bigger than Haaland, dude. I just liked the semantics Žydrūnas used since they were objective. And to be honest, I don't compare players unless they have very similar characteristics in playstyle, which isn't the case. For example, in my opinion Bruno Fernandes is not as good as Bernardo Silva; on the other hand, I wouldn't compare Haaland with Álvarez, or Mbappé with Messi, since they all are different type of players.

Imagine if both Haaland and Julian hit peak finishing form on the pitch at the same time. My god that is unplayable with the creativity we have with Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Foden, Mahrez and De Bruyne. Even youngsters like Cole Palmer and James McAtee can come up in that system and be insane. What a season to look forward to and we have a phenomenal kit to play it in too. One is a proven European goalscorer while the other is a young striker with a very bright future. ManCity will be an enigma this season.
