Hello Everyone! Thank you for checking out my channel and subscribing! Here we look at my Ultimate Charging Station and its capabilities.. Took a long time building and testing, Well, here it is.. Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
It's probably the best thing (other than my Super Duper Mega Ultralite 138g 4S 5incher) to have in this hobby. The amount of time it used to take is less than a 3rd now for lipo maintenance. I may have gone a little too far, lol.. Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
I appreciate your support and encouragement! It really has been a game changer for my enjoyment of the hobby. Per your emails, can't wait to see your "Ultimate Charging Station" ...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
I love your set up PropsOff great job I’m not into flying to much but I do race Dragsters in 4 different Lipo battery sizes could this be designed for doing the same as flying Great job
Sure can, my charging station is 1200 watts and that is based on the 3 power supplies. I not sure what size lipos your charging, however, 1C/2C charging doesn't take much.
I'm pretty sure it was this one, 4800 rings a bell. Apologies, been a while, lol...🍻 www.harborfreight.com/4800-weatherproof-protective-case-x-large-black-64250.html
Appreciate your feedback. Took what used to be a little over 3 hours of lipo management, after getting home, down to 37 minutes.. Epic piece of equipment for the hobby...🍻
That is freaking awesome man! I have bought a lot of stuff at harbor freight when they have deals, it is a great store. I will probably never join the inside track club there because I bought pretty much everything I could possibly need that they have lol. Great video man 👍
@@trevorimpulsebuyguy6398 I haven't purchased thier wire. The potential heat rating of this case needed something stronger, therefore, I purchased my wire from True Value or had some on hand from old jobs.. I'm not familiar with Harbor Freight's wire, I will check it out next time I'm there...🍻
freaking awesome. I am just hitting critical mass where batteries are becoming a pain. might just start by getting a second toolkitrc so i can at least charge two voltages at once. Im definitely not capable of something like this but even just seeing you talk through it is informative about the bottlenecks in the charging process. thanks for sharing!
I appreciate your feedback! Yeah, do that.. Anything to make lipo management faster and safer is a must.. I really wish I did this a couple years ago.. I bet since I created a way to make the pain of charging, discharging, and storage charging easier, I fly three times more now.. Do it and do it soon...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
1/4" plexiglass. It was an absolute nightmare to cut.. I'd probably do it again though, Lol.. If you do a clear top, invest in a scroll saw that has variable speeds - slower the better..
@@PropsOff 1/4" should be around 6mm thickness. I can only get 1/8" plexi around here. Maybe 1/4" MDF would be better then. I'm planning on getting some carbon look foil and stick that ontop of it so you wouldnt even see the plexiglass anyway
Thanks.. Yeah, it was a hobby in a hobby at the time of building it. It's really made things much better for me in the way I enjoy the hobby. Not being concerned with the time consumption of lipo maintenance has been so nice. I save tons of time now.. Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
"Because I don't have a lot of time for battery management...." Then builds a case that would takes a few weeks of planning/building it! Really nicely done though. Props.... I mean hats off! ;-D

I do appreciate your support William.. Thank you! Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
Cool video. Hunting for a breakdown of the components you used. You have motivated me....

Fluorescent green with purple backlighting?
Thats a great system there. Nice work. Maybe one day i will make me a nice portable charger
Man, this has really changed the game.. I really don't like parallel charging at 4 and 5c, but now... Lol, in the air in 6 minutes...👍🏻🍻👊🏻

They have a sidewalk sale in Cbus in the spring that is ridiculous! Stuff is marked down to like 80% off and I fill the credit card up, lol..
@@PropsOff oh nice , I didnt know that. We finally got one in our town so I didnt have to drive to Newark or Mansfield anymore
@@trevorimpulsebuyguy6398
Newark still have that killer Sopapilla restaurant? I haven't been there in years...
@@PropsOff Not sure I dont stop and eat usually. I spend all my money at harbor freight. That 12 spool of wire deal is great isnt it.

This case looks nice! I would like to build one myself but I'm struggling with the face plate. What did you use?

Oh yeah, if your covering it up, do not use plexiglass. Super pain to work with..
Mad skillz!
Thank you! Much appreciated encouragement...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
Really nice build, but I don’t have the time to do that lol
