U guys do deserve credit for raising your voice against the glorification of toxic "heroes" as well as toxic storylines. There's a refreshing change & now adays, many dramas are made on new subjects. As critics, you're definitely playing your part well.

KMKT: Mustafa's arc was perfectly portrayed. He was earlier shown to be "mast maula or nonchalant". They showed us why he became like that. Adeel was a golden child of their parents. And mustafa despite being smart couldn't score much in the exams. So he suffered the wrath of his parents throughout his life. So he masked his personality so that he could protect himself from his parents and his brother. Now, all that is unraveling. His father's sickness, sharjina's support sparked a fire inside him and gave birth to many insecurities. This is just a part of it.
He is now thinking why a person qualified like sharjina should be with a person like mustafa. He never received any encouragement from his family so now all he thinks that he is the reason sharjina is bearing his family's torture. And he is not wrong. His family abused him throughout his life. The only person who acknowledged his presence is bearing the brunt of his family.

KMKT: Rubab spent her life alone with no parents or siblings. The only thing she had was money and so her show of love and appreciation is through money. I don’t think her intention was wrong towards Sharjeena. In fact, from day one she had been polite with her while Sharjeena always was kind of rude with her. Rubab is way better than Adeel. It is her mom in law who treats her like a servant, and no girl can stand the attitude and workload she puts on Sharjeena, no matter how good the husband is. Sharjeena needed a break badly, Mustafa’s behaviour is also justified. They remain the best couple with the best chemistry, the best written characters of husband wife and the best representation of true meaning of love.

Rubab bachi nhi hai lol, she knew exactly what she was doing. She called Adeel’s mother “lalchi” behind her back (which she actually is) and taunted Adeel by saying “tumhari middle class mentality nahi badlegi” which shows that she considers herself superior to his entire family because of her financial status. She was just asserting her superiority in-front of Sharjeena by offering her money.

    • @samrahmumtaz9469
      @samrahmumtaz9469 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

I understand what you're saying about Rubab' intentions she was not giving this money as a charity, but the problem is that in our society, it's normally our elders who give money to the younger family members for cooking food or completing a degree, etc. I agree that Rubab never misbehaves with her, but she is her sister-in-law, and most importantly, she is Adeel's wife, which makes her even more intolerable for Sharjeena. Furthermore, before giving the money, Rubab gave an example of how her one servant cooks delicious food, and then she gave the money to Sharjeena, creating the idea that she regards Sharjeena as a servant, which makes Sharjeena more furious.

Exactly! Also, those traumas continue!!!! And now even the wife is part of it! For example, when the father was admitted to the hospital in the first place, Mustafa spent his entire first salary on him without thinking twice! Down to the last penny! And his wife was SO supportive and constantlyyyyy making food for everyone, taking off from work, making hospital to home and vice-versa trips, but the mother put both Mustafa and his wife in some C category as the son and wife and as attendants and financiers! It was allllll about mera Adeel aa gayaa!!!! If anything, the trauma has only increased!! It will take Mustafa yearsssssss to overcome this crap, along with Sharjeena’s love as well as his own efforts to heal! I wonder how he can even heal while living in this house, in the first place!!! I bet they both will get together and then eventually move out and make a life of their own!!!

KMKT: Fahad’s portrayal of guilt, inferiority and misery especially when he was sitting against the wall, reminded me of when he was sitting alongside Angeline Malik in La-Hasil. He is just marvellous. His lethargic bidy language, the empty yet hard stare and his stammering when he admitted Adeel is better. He is just great. He feels bad because he said that you are the only person to have faith in me, but seeing how she remained silent over his insult which may have solidified that he is actually inferior and Sharjeena is compromising, not happy. He never felt betrayed as much as he did from the womn who has the most faith in him.
Rubab’s attempt wasn’t entirely malicious nor was it innocent. She knows money is the most desirable asset in the household, which is why she may have thought that Sharjeena would’ve liked money as well. Her mentioning her mother and chef, hinted that she genuinely liked it and gave money which she may have given to the chef and didn’t know that a jethani doesn’t usually give money.

Ishq hoa has the same love triangle / situation as in Gentleman, but here everything makes sense unlike Gentleman.
--It is understandable and clear why both Bahar and Tabrez fall for the girl, and why Minsa fell for Tabrez.
--A gunda is not glorified like Munna, they clarified that Bahar kept Tabrez away from his criminal activities.
-- Minsa living in the building with all men also makes sense since she has nowhere to go, unlike Zarnab who likes spending time with gundas , leaving her career.
--Bahar Tabrez conflict and fight would also make sense as Tabrez would not only fight to save Minsa from Bahar , but also take revenge of his parents.
--The building looks perfect , out of some movie. Scenes are beautifully shot making Ishq Hoa visually appealing which could be shown on the cinema screens too while Gentleman would have been more appropriate as a radio drama, with nothing but philosophical and preachy dialogues.

KMKT: Completely in Aww of this writing, on one side there is Sharjeena, such a happy go lucky girls who has her values set, mtlb she'll do everything for her loved ones without complaining once but at the same time values herself. On the other hand you have Mustafa and through his character, the writers have shown how the unfair behaviour shown by parents during the upbringing have a long term effect on a person's life, how his insecurities impact all of his relationships. Plus nothing seems forced, their reactions were not exaggerated, it all made sense.
The moment sharjeena said "tum to kuch kr hi nhi sakte ... m disappointed etc" my heart sank cuz being Mustafa in tht situation this would have hurt so bad cuz you've let down the only person who ever believed in you. On the other hand you can also understand why sharjeena said so, she looked at him at the dinner table as to seek his help and when he didn't she felt let down.
Talking about Rubab, she compared Sharjeena's cooking to her mother's (she mentioned the cook but even that was compared to her mother's cooking) which is actually a compliment. As someone else commented all she's seen in her life is money being used as an expression of love by her dad but again it seems an insulting gesture from Sharjeena's pov due to the rich/poor dynamic. The writing adds so many layers which makes it so much more interesting.
Also, I can't deny when Natasha and Adil were sitting, the affair angle also crossed my mind and I wouldn't mind it 🤣 just so Adil gets beaten by Rubab upon finding it out.
I feel like Amna is reviewing this drama with the best viewer point. She has assessed each character perfectly. Hassan seems to get off on a tangent quite often. The only thing I agree with Hassan on this time is that even I don't like crispy puri.

I saw a lot funny talks in uncut version of Tamasha. There are many fun and light genuine moments in Tamasha house. But they don't show it.
The slipping game and balancing game was way better than the Burger game. The Burger game literally gave me a headache.
No matter what...Saima is playing brilliantly, agreed.
Also the food Badshah Salamat sent was deliberately less, like there were 12 rotis for 14 contestants, there was meat dish also which was not sufficient, not everyone got the chicken. It could have easily triggered a fight among contestants but they handled it maturely. I strongly believe it was deliberate, now also Badshah made a new house rule. No distributing food equally in plates. One should take directly from the main pot according to their requirements. Last season there were lot of UGLY fights over food. Natasha would always create issue over shortage of milk because she doesn't drink evening tea habitually. And for morning there would ne scarcity of milk, the contestant would rant about Umar Shehzad taking more botis than others because of his protein requirements. Too many fights over food n botis.
PS : I used to get severe cramps some years ago, at times it would last for 10mins, its very very painful. Its difficult to walk or stand straight. I would always cry.

KMKT: Amna was so on point with the reasoning behind Mustafa's actions. She understands and talks about emotions so well its refreshing.
ITS THE GUILT AND INSECURITY THATS MAKING MUSTAFA BEHAVE IN THIS WAY, HE IS THINKING THAT HE DOESN'T DESERVE A GIRL LIKE SHARJEENA. He is saddened by the fact that a girl of her calibre is sacrificing so much for him and suffering amongst his toxic family.

KMKT... How are people justifying rubab??it was an isolated thing where jethani appreciated dewrani with a token of "appreciation"
She giving money to sharjeena was the tipping point... All the previous incidents added up and its really demeaning for sharjeena
-She spoke about sharjeena that bada bhai nahi mila toh chote ko phasaliya.. She has no self respect
-she thinks adeel still has feelings for sharjeena .. asks is she beautiful to him
    - the reason she is willing to stay in this house is bcz she is insecure of sharjeena

Badshah left them no choice. And the badshah did not even reprimand saima for her rudeness and refusing to play badsha salamat 's precious game

Note - something haute reviewers , you should try to review all the scenes … specific the dialogue that mustafa told to Shajeela as why create a scene and it completely makes sense .
KMKT: why sharjeena wants to have fight in the family , mustafa was absolutely right there , he didn’t want to create scene… and I feel in countries like Pakistan and India , even a 12th pass looser man would not really think he can’t deserve a good looking successful girl .. so for sure mustafa deserve sharjeela and his feeling is totally nonsense

Amna is absolutely right about Mustafa's mindset and his helplessness. however I don't think Adeel was trying to have a scene with Sharjeena. But for sure he is jealous of his brother and wants them not to work out. For the sake of his own ego. He can't stand the fact that his brother married his fiancé and has turned out to be an excellent wife. Also he can't stand it that Sharjeena isn't lamenting her kismat and she's actually happy with his no good brother. He wa ts them to split up but his mother even though she Hates Sharjeena..she doesn't want any divorce or separation. Just years of mental and physical torture without a whimper !!!
She has done this with Adeel and Mustafa all their life...she sees no problem doing it with Rubarb and Sharjeena.

    Hassan to answer your question:
Yes! I would love Tamasha House without Saima!!!
There is so much fun stuff happening in the house in uncut where Saima is no where to be seen. She never sits with them.
She only starts fights when she is in danger zone so she can be seen once she is safe she goes in hibernation. BaadShah’s blind favors to her made her even more unlikeable for me at least especially after the last incident. She broke so many rules….delayed the game and yet not a single word to her. It leaves a bad impression!
Would love to see more deserving people in the house and in top 5
