The AFC East is already interesting between the two teams that actually have talent and good coaching. Your team and the team your referring to are just, as usual, not factoring into any of it.
Truth is...they should have signed a solid veteran QB and sat Wilson a year at least to learn the system. Same goes for Trevor Lawrence and the Jags. Minshew is a good QB and could have taught Lawrence a lot....they were stupid to let him go. This season was extremely damaging for Lawrence, Wilson, and Fields...and they all had bad head coaches, Mac Jones was at least blessed wit ha good team and a great head coach. Shanahan was smart enough to have Trey Lance sit a year behind Jimmy G.

Baxton Berrios is such a weapon, no wonder he's mates with McCaffery, he's basically a Wish version of him. Either way they need to get him more involved in the offence
Such a weapon he is a ultimate utility guy gotta keep players like that long term by all means
he's really blossomed this season. Excited to see him when he's not the WR1 and can be a gadget guy
I’ll say this, if Zach can manage to weather the storm of being thrown to the wolves, missing god knows how many weapons and linemen, a rookie head coach and offensive coordinator, and being injured and STILL shows improvement there is hope

He needs more help. Even when healthy, the Jets' line and receivers are subpar. Barrios is the most promising, he puts in the work.

@@NEFLAtlantic some plays were impressive but we in it for improvement that’s all both need to grow from my observation TLaw is a bit further ahead but from what I see Zach has more grit. What is my evidence TLaw to take the lead at the end could have tried to bulldoze his way to a victory but decided to step out maybe because he fumbled last time he tried it vs Zach Wilson without the game on the line stayed inbound and scored on a 54 yd run. Imo both will be great just depends on the supporting cast.

This was actually a good football game and a good win for the Jets. Heck 4 wins is better than the 2 we had last season. They should've won by double digits if they didn't screw around foolishly going for 2 and faking field goals. Just take the damn points.

This was a great game between the top 2 picks in the NFL Draft. In the end, Zach Wilson got the win with a little help from the defense late!

Indianapolis lost their starting Quarterback for the season.Houston did a meltdown that season.I honestly did see Jacksonville Jaguars to go down but not being competitive at all was surprising for the next few years.

Actually the Jags got the TD. The booth should've reviewed it. 12:36 the INT slips out of Mosely hands and Marvin Jones catches it in the end zone. That's a TD both feet are in and the ball crossed the line. But I guess when you are the team nobody wants to win..you always get the short end.

I honestly still think, since the beginning of the season, that Zach Wilson is the better QB of the two drafts matching here. He is showing so much improvement and how he starts to understand the NFL is great. Lawrence is definetly far from bad, but seems a lot like he is out of ideas for most of the decisions and plays he makes. Of course both have limited possiblities with their teams and training staff, both of these teams have quite... "unexctiting" stats and overall performance, but just from the QBs Wilson is definetly the more exciting one to watch improve in my personal opinion. And i'm far from a Jets fan :D

@Cpurr jets are better even with covid, all of our good players were gone, Myles Jack (best defensive player) was out with covid also our best player (James Robinson) had the early injury and Josh Allen was out, on top of that the jaguars #2 receiver was out

Game of the week tbh
As a jags fan, this really hurt. It's easy for me to say this after the fact with hindsight but the ending could have been handled sooooo much better.
1) on third and goal, don't spike it, at least throw a fade route. Low percentage of completion, but better than a spike. And almost no time lost. Still would have time for 4th down play.
2) on 4th and goal, the offense was clearly confused. Better to take a delay of game and try 4th and goal from the 6 instead of rushing everyone and hoping to get the 1 yard. Especially since the play call was a pass (people could be confused by who is doing what route or the formation or pass protection etc.)
Yeah. This one really shows Lawrence’s inability to take ownership of the team. There’s simply no creativity there in that dumb brain of his. I can hardly tell if he ever thinks about many meaningful things in life. I’d never pick him to lead my team.

Difference in the game was when Zach had an opportunity to run out of bounds on his long run.. he fought for extra yards and got in the end zone! When Trevor had an opportunity to run out of bounds on his long run... he took it! 😂 Zach Wilson appears to me to be a little bit tougher than Trevor and that’s what made all the difference in the game! At 10:08, Lawrence should’ve stepped up and ran toward the right while looking down field for receivers to get open. Instead, he spun back right into a potential sack. Hopefully, new coaching will address the issue.

I admire many players in the Jets roster this year. They need to make the Field Goals in FG Range on 4th Downs.
They have a good QB, skilled WR & RB. They need to want the win and if you want the win you take the sure points.
You do not play well and then mess it up in the Redzone playing the 4th downs.
They might have very well lost this game on the Jax' last Drive.

That was some Les Miles end of game clock management. Don’t spike the ball on 3rd and goal. You should already have a play ready and rehearsed for these situations.
I'm telling you and I've been consistent in every post..we got our gut in Zach..the Cincinnati game with Davis, Moore and Carter..for awhile in that game I saw our future..add in a Healthy and angry #77..
