What you said about having a few landmark points that stay in a permanent place, and other points around it can be kept more flexible and movable until the accuracy is found, was really helpful. I'm going to be keeping that one in mind. Thanks.

I started teaching myself to draw last year and I'm ever so slowly shifting from graphite to charcoals. There's a rawness with charcoal that can't be had with graphite. I was wondering if there are charcoal holders, that work similar to lead holders. I ask because I have Osteoarthritis in my left arm and both hands, so holding charcoal can be a bit of a nightmare.

Isn't reference line (usually vertical) anchor for artist drawing figure, face, bust etc. as well? With engineering background my sketches were always XYZ "coordinated" .
:-) :-) :-) Impressed with your NITRAM sticks, I have ordered one of each from your NITRAM link. No art store is selling it here in my part of Canada, and Amazon charges $22 before tax for ONE box + $ 6 shipping.

Hi Florent, with drawing do you ever use grids? I find drawing a very difficult thing to do free-hand, and to get utmost accuracy I try to grid and re-size. I also try to convert my images to black and white to get tonal values. Do you do this in your art work for any types of subjects? Thanks for the great videos!

Lately, I have learned a little more about the advertisements that play before and during content. Do I correctly understand that the vlogger receives more compensation if I do not “skip” past the ad? I just watched 18 minutes of advertising before this video. I stared doing this for preferred bloggers in the hopes that they receive the compensation they need to maintain their channel. Thanks in advance!
