    I can imagine ultimate “solid state” devices with some of the concepts presented here. Imagine a block of material of the shape necessary to fulfill any given function. There are no wires. Energy flows through this mass in ways that are engineered at an atomic scale through photonic nano structure meta materials. The materials could contain ways of storing energy as well. Information processing can become an inherent property of the material. Every element is contiguous. This is probably what purported NHI technology is like.
